CORPORATE DIVISION

The Fleet Commander, in recognition of the increasing need for industrial goods far from the heart of the Empire, herein announces the creation of the fifth approved Sub-Group of the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet. The EH Corporate Division will be managed much like a series of "Contractors" which are hoped will be online "think tanks" for the EH.

The Division will be comprised of several competitive Corporations, each managed by its own Corporate Executive Officer (CEO). The CEOs will be ENTIRELY responsible for creating, managing and expanding their Corporations. The CEOs will have discretion in creating of ranking and promotion systems and requirements, which will be posted in subsequent Newsletters. As in any competitive military-based economy, the Corporations will be occasionally requested to fulfill "special projects" by the Fleet Commander. However, the Corporations will be primarily devoted to their own specific research and development. These "protoypes" will be forwarded to the Science Officer for review prior to review by the Fleet Commander for posting in a Newsletter.

The following Corporations have been approved by the Fleet Commander to bid on exclusive Emperor's Hammer contracts:

Shadoworks - Shekinah

Imperial Microsystems, Inc. - Be Stupid1

Dagger Engineering Systems - Md128m.

The following has been submitted by Be Stupid1, CEO of IMI:

Imperial Microsystems, Inc.

Overseeing the battle occuring outside of the bridge, the Fleet Commander was pleased with the performance of his men, the elite, the best in the Empire. But he couldn't help but notice how dated most of the spacecraft were. Ever since the New Republic had been established, the shipments from Sienar Fleet Systems, Cygnus Spaceworks, and Kuat Drive Yards had become less and less reliable. Shadow Works had been founded to solve that problem, but, although the products produced were superb, the Empire didn't have the equipment to mass-produce these craft.

Suddenly, an absolutely wild idea popped into his head - why have just the military produce modern war materials, with all the civilian talent in the galaxy?

But then he stopped his thoughts, because he knew that the shipments would probably be just as reliable as the current shipments would be. In other words, they wouldn't be.

The Infiltrator Wing!

Suddenly, the idea popped back into his head. He forgot, he had placed a small operative in the New Republic to report on and ensure the safety of the Infiltrator Wing. Why not make him more useful...

Announcing the new civilian corporation for the Empire... Imperial Microsystems!

Imperial Microsystems is a new Corporation of the Emperor's Hammer that will allow people who have little or no skill in TIE Fighter to take part in this superb organization. The corporation will design graphics, ships, and complete battle missions that have not been completed.

Imperial Microsystems will not only design, but sell upgrades and add-ons to anyone with enough credits.

Positions

Microsystems will have a simple ranking system based mainly on the skill of the individual. To enter Microsystems, you must submit one work to the CEO, Be Stupid1@aol.com. The work does not have to meet a certain requirement, except for that it must exist. Along with your work, please state if you'd like to specialize in Ship Design, Mission Building, or Graphics Design.

Upon entering the corporation, you will be given the rank of Copyboy. You will be assigned an Executive to help in your training. Copyboys may not participate in competitions.

When the Executive determines that a Copyboy's training is complete, the Copyboy advances to the rank of Free-Lance Artist. A Free-Lance Artist only reports to his former executive, but isn't assisted or trained by him. Free-Lance Artists may participate in competitions.

Free-Lance Artists must reach a special requirement to reach the rank of Executive. The Artist must submit an Executive Proposal. An Executive Proposal is a work created by the Free-Lance Artist that, if of a high enough quality, will advance the person to the rank of Executive. Executives are directly involved with the decision making process of their particular part of Microsystems. Executives must train Copyboys and make sure Free-Lance Artists report in.

There are also 2 other ranks appointed by the CEO and Fleet Commander. The first position is the Division CEO, which is appointed by the CEO. The Division CEOs will lead their particular section of Imperial Microsystems. The second one is the position of Chief Executive, or CEO, which is to be appointed by the FC. The CEO is the head of Microsystems, and his responsibilities mainly have to do with communicating the needs of one division to another and compiling overall records.
