INFILTRATOR WING

Training Manual

EMPEROR'S HAMMER

CRS DESPOT

Welcome to the Infiltrator Wing (IW) of the Emperor's Hammer Elite Strike Fleet (EH). We are an independent wing of the Emperor's Hammer Elite Strike Fleet under the command of Grand Admiral Ronin.

This Wing is unique in the fact that we are all former Rebel Alliance pilots and we fly for the Empire in our Rebel Alliance fighters. We will use the standard alphabet fighters. The IW was created for special operations against the Rebel Alliance. Our mission is to Infiltrate the Alliance and do as much damage to them as we can. We will mimic an Alliance Fighter Wing. Lets face it, all of you are ex-alliance pilots, so that shouldn't be hard to do. Everything we do must be as an Alliance Wing. We will use Rebel Alliance callsigns, squadron names, tactics, ect. Fooling the Alliance is what we are all about. We will adopt the policy of "Find'em, Fool'em, Frag'em and Forg'em. We will also develop "Hit and Run" tactics to a very fine-art.

We have a very difficult and dangerous job ahead of us, to the Rebel Alliance we are traitors, and we must also prove to the EH Fleet and the rest of the Imperials that we are trustworthy. If we are caught by the Rebels, we will be severly tortured and executed. If we are caught by Imperial units other than the EH, we may be executed before we can get across to them who we are.

Neither side except our own fleet knows that we exist, if we get into a situation where we are challenged, you will tell your captors that we are a very Secret Special Operations Group and our existence is classified by the Alliance High-Command. if questioned, you will reply that your orders are very TOP SECRET, and you can only answer to Adm. Ack-bar. This should fool them, until we can " Hit and Run."

GA Ronin has set up a communications unit that will handle all inquires as to who we are. They are kept up to date on the most current Rebel and Imperial codes. If any pilot is caught, the Wing will do everything we can to rescue you, but if that fails, then every pilot in this wing has standing orders to destroy the ship you are on and making sure that you die a hero's death. We must not be captured and tortured

Grand Admiral Ronin has confidence in us that we can get the job done. He has exonerated all of us for our crimes against the Empire and has given us all a pardon. Let us not fail him and the Fleet. We will serve with honor.

All of you were hand chosen for this assignment because you are execellent pilots. The wing will be set-up into 4 Squadrons of 9 pilots each. A total of 36 in all. Four squadron commanders will also be chosen. There will be a squadron each of the 4 ships the Alliance flies.

Shadow Squadron is classified, they will perform "special missions" and will only answer to the IW-Commodore. Only the very elite of the elite will be placed in Shadow Squadron. They will only have 6 pilots assigned and will fly the T\D, GUN, X-wing and B-wing as the mission requires.

They are:

EAGLE : Squadron will fly the X-wing (STRIKE and ESCORT)

CONDOR : Squadron will fly the Y-wing (ASSAULT)

RAVEN : Squadron will fly the A-wing (RECON and STRIKE)

VULTURE : Squadron will fly the B-wing (HEAVY ASSAULT)

SHADOW: Squadron (CLASSIFIED)

We will be adding new officers as the need arises, but right now we must depend on the EH Command Officers for support in all areas.

RANKS

All pilots will be able to keep their Alliance ranks. The Imperial Navy follows the same ranking system as the Alliance. The ranks are:

GA-Grand Admiral

VA-Vice Admiral

AD-Admiral

RA-Rear Admiral

MG-Major General

LG-Leut. General

BG-Brig. General

GN-General

CDR-Commander (the minimum entrance requirment for the IW)

XO-Fleet Executive officer

FO-Fleet Flight Officer

TAC- Fleet Tactical Officer

TO-Fleet Training Officer

COM-Ship Commander

WC-Wing Commander

FM-Flight Member

All IW members must read the EH Training Manual also, and be familar with it's contents as well.

CHAIN-OF-COMMAND (CoC)

The CoC will be followed at all times with out exception, BUT in case a member has a conflict with his\her immediate superior officer, then the chain may be jumped but only by one.

The Chain of Command is:

FC

COM

WC

CMDR'S

FL's

FM's

The chain will be used going UP the chain as well as DOWN. A FM reports to their FL who reports to the CMDR who will report to the WC who will report to the COM who reports directly to the FC. All correspondence with the Fleet Commander must go through the office of the IW Commodore and\or the Wing Commander. No exceptions.

ID LINES

All IW pilots will make use of ID lines in all offical communications, this is so those who do not know you can still tell who you are. ID line are as follows: Position/Rank/Callsign/Name/Squadron/Ship/Wing. Flight member/General "BUZZ" Smith/Bronze Squadron-flight number/ship/wing/Fleet would read like this: FM/GN "BUZZ" Smith/Bronze-2/CRS Des/IW/EH. ID lines MUST BE be used in ALL OFFICIAL Communications.

CALLSIGNS

All IW pilots and personel have the OPITION of using "callsigns or nicknames" ie: 'Top Gun', 'IceMan', 'Maverick'. Callsigns maybe be used in official communications and included in the ID line between the members rank and name.

UNIFORMS

All IW pilots and personnel will wear Imperial Navy uniforms with a green sash around their waist and green shoulder boards, denoting they are of the Infiltrator Wing. We will also wear the IW wing patch on the left sleeve and the EH patch on the right sleeve. Remember we are in the Imperial Navy now. However, ALL PILOTS will wear Rebal Alliance flight suits and space armor when they are flying.

SHIPS

CRS Despot (CRS Des)

Our ship is a captured Rebel Cruiser that was captured before the battle of Endor. Grand Admiral Ronin has commisioned the MC-80 Calamari Cruiser "Despot" to be the Flagship of the IW. The "Despot" has a long history of battles behind it. We in the IW will serve her with Honor, as she serves us.

FRG Insidious (FRG Ins)

Assigned to the Shadow squadron. The Insidious was captured at the battle of HAST Shipyards. It has been re-fitted to be a home for Shadow Squadron. All modifications are classified on a NEED-TO-KNOW basis.

MISSIONS

WE will fly custom missions made by our own members and placed into the EH Newsletters. All of our missions will be made for the X-wing game and not Tie Fighter. B-Wing and Imperial Pursuit is not required but highly recommended to play any custom missions.

You will have to remember that the IFF codes will be reversed for purposes of playing X-wing. as a Fleet command officer noted to the COM that our IFF codes were like a stop light---"RED for stop the enemy, and GREEN- for let the friendlies go" Remember that .

And, keep an eye on your sensors, and do not shoot up the EH pilots, they may tend to get real mad about it, and we have their assurances they will not put a few lasers blasts toward us. WE ARE ON THE SAME SIDE!!!!!!!

DISCIPLINE

Friendly rivalry will be good for the IW and the Fleet, but I know some of you still have no love for the Empire. There WILL BE NO altercations with the EH pilots. And there will be no anamosity from the Fleet to the IW. Violators will be strickly punished, no matter who started it. All pilots will follow the lawful orders of all Officers appointed above them whether they are Fleet or IW officers. All pilots should be familar with the EH by-laws and rules of Court-Marshalls.

If there are any questions you may have you may direct them to me: ADM Rene@aol.com or DarkToeJam@aol.com until you are assigned to a squadron, then you may direct them to your indvidual Squadron Commanders or Flight Leaders. Remember to use the Chain-of-Command.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU

SHADOW SQUADRON MANUAL

FRG INSIDIOUS

EMPEROR'S HAMMER

Shadow Squadron Banner
(Photo: Created by BG anakin, 1995)

NAME: Shadow Squadron

MOTTO: Strike Hard, Strike Fast, Strike Often.

NICKNAME: Shadow Raiders

This manual is very Top-Secret and divulging the contents of it is to be considered Treason and violators will be terminated with Extreme Prejudice.

Shadow squadron is being set-up with the express purpose of conducting very secret operations against the Enemies of the Empire.

We are to remain a small unit of only 6 pilots who have shown their fealty to the Empire and Emperor's Hammer.

OUR MISSION

Our job is simple, we follow our orders without question and we will not fail in that task. We will give our lives if need be to accomplish our goals.

Shadow pilots will answer and take their orders only from FA "Pappy" Renegade and will answer only to him. He in turn answers to NOBODY EXCEPT GA Ronin, our Fleet Commander.

Our missions may range from anything to protecting the FC and CS officers to Assassinating the EH's enemies.

Orders are orders and are not open to discussion, no matter what those orders may entail.

SQUADRON SET-UP

Within Shadow squadron--we will not use military ranks or protocol. All pilots will use their Callsigns and military courtesy is not necessary. We are such a small unit that we can dispense with the salutes and sirs and be like brothers to each other. All pilots will be given the rank of Brig. General unless they are of a higher rank when they enter-then they will keep the same rank. This is to set you aside from other pilots

However if communicating outside the squadron; military courtesy will be extended to all personnel who who require it. Official ID lines will still be used.

The ID line for Shadow is:

Your Rank\Your Callsign-pilot name\Shadow\FRG INS\any medals you have earned.

We are all equal in Shadow so flight numbers are not needed.

All pilots in Shadow will be permanantly assigned and will lose their position in the EH, but remember we are still EH pilots.

SHIPS ASSIGNED TO Shadow

We will be using the FRG Insidious for our home base, and since a FRG can carry 24 fighters and we only have 6 pilots in Shadow, each pilot will be assigned 4 fighters:1 each of a T\D, X-wing, GUN and B-wing. We will use these ships in a combination depending upon the missions we will fly.

CUSTOM MISSIONS

Our mission will reflect what our squadron was formed for. We will hit the enemies of the Empire very hard and fast. We were set-up to be an Assassination squadron. Our targets will be Traitors and Renegade Imperials and Rebel leaders.

Some pilots will only have X-wing and some will only have TIE. All missions will be made in each format, and will be as close to being the same as far as the game engines will support. Unfortunately, the X-wing pilots will not be able to fly certain ships or be able to fight against certain ship because of the non-support of these ships in X-wing. there are no T\D's or M\FRG's and other ship in X-wing that TIE has. If anybody has any mission building skills they will be greatly appreciated,

All pilots will either post on the message boards, attend the on-line conference, submit materials (stories, missions or such) for the NL's or contact Pappy (ADM Rene) at least once every 2 weeks. This is a requirement. You can do either 1 or more, but it has to be done. That is an order.

If anyone questions you about the squadron, just reply that you cannot "confirm nor deny" what they ask you and refer all such inquiries from said people to AD Renegade. He will take care of it.

Out of the many applicants that i have recieved, the following pilots are anticipated to be permanantly assigned to Shadow:

RANK CALLSIGN SCREEN NAME

Fleet Admiral "Pappy" ADM Rene

Brig. Gen. "Dark Jedi" Md 128m

Brig. Gen "Wolf" TConnon

Brig. Gen "Snoop" Mateo 15

Brig. Gen. "Vidol" StarWarPlt

Brig. Gen. "Dude" Alenz59

Congratulations to all of you. You all had the highest scores in training. Remember Your are the very best of the best. Your conduct and deportment must reflect that.

All Shadow pilots are authorized to wear a Red Sash with ceremonial dagger and Red Epulates on their uniforms to set us apart from the rest of the Fleet pilots.

Remember we are the Elite of the Elite.

All questions should be directed to the office of AD Renegade (ADM Rene)

DEATH REPORT

CRS Despot\Aurora System

COM\FA Renegade, Commanding

Sir, It is my sad duty to report that GN Gru'ell\Vulture-3\IW (WookiePLT) has died in the Line-of-Duty. He is the first casualty of the IW.

GN Gru'ell was a Wookie from the planet Kashyyyk, and joined the Imperial Navy,

because he was wanted by the Rebel Alliance for selling several of his fellow Wookies to the Empire as slaves. He was escaping the Death penalty on his homeworld.

He was a loyal pilot to the Empire and to the IW\EH. And could have gone far in his career.

Details are still sketchy about his death, but as close as we can determine, he was on a Test Flight, and was jumped by several flights of Rebel X-wings. He managed to destroy 3 of them and was making good his escape, when several missiles hit his ship and although he ejected the Rebels captured him and tortured him, then left his body floating in space.

All we found of his modified X-wing was part of the canopy and his ejection seat. His flight recorder was destroyed and could not be recovered. The investigation is still going on. We do believe that the Alliance X-wings were from the StarFire Squadron.

GN Gru'ell, although his Race is fighting on the side of the Rebels, He distinguished him in Imperial service. I am promoting him to Brig. Gen. posthumously.

We of the IW will miss his growling everytime we went into combat. Sometimes it got so loud that our Translators shut-down. He was a natural born pilot. and flew his modified B-wing with wild abandon, but always accomplished the mission.

We did have trouble convincing him that He could NOT mount a large bow-caster on the front of his ship, and he was a very good Sabacc player and seldom lost, of course we was allowed to win most times, none of the other pilots wanted their arms ripped out of their sockets.

He will be missed by all of us who knew him.

Infiltrator Wing-Emperor's Hammer

FA "Pappy" Renegade-Commanding

SUBJ: Fighter Modifications

TO: GA Ronin

FROM: FA Renegade

DATE: 113095\Aurora System.

Sir, here is my first report on the X-wing VALKRYE and A-wing BANSHEE.

I had the occasion to meet the Verpine, the Insect Race that built and designed the B-wing for the Alliance. I was doing recon and had the fortune to run across a Verpine FRG. They naturally assumed that I was an Alliance pilot since I was flying an X-wing in Alliance controlled space.

They agreed that since I lead an entire Wing of "Rebels" they would modify my X-wing into a prototype of a new and improved fighter.

I let them modfy my ship, for a payment of 1 million Alliance credits, with option to have them modfy my Wing's A-wings also which was done when I flew an A-wing back to their Factory's PLAT for the same price. I feel that I got a bargain.

The payment was made from Alliance money that the IW captured in our last raid on a Rebel convoy.

Included is a list of the new modifications and also the Stock Specs to compare them to.

X-WING (VALKRYE)

Stock Modified

Power: 300kbu 500kbu

Hull 2100 2600

Shields: 2500 4000

Speed: 225 265

Accel: 12 18

Roll: 44 50

Pitch: 15 20

Warheads: 6 Torpedoes 10 Missiles

Lasers: 4 4

Ion Cannon 0 4

Engines: The stock Incom 4j.4 Fusial thrust engines was upgraded to an Incom 4j.7 fusion thrust engine with rerouted fusion injectors and new improved fusion emitters. All power is now directed to a Reverter with a larger fusion chamber and enhanced power cells giving the ship more power and hence more speed.

Weapons: Lasers have been left stock, but all laser power now comes straight off the fusion reactor and channelled through a Beam Accelerator giving almost unlimited Laser power.

Four Armex SW-7a Ion Cannons (same as used on the B-wing) were installed an a piggy-back configuration with the Lasers. The Ion Cannons share the same power package that the lasers do, and can be single or fire-linked. A slight glitch in the IONs are that the power capiciator will only allow for 16 blasts to be fired at anyone time.

The three Torpedoes per missile rack was reconfigured to holds 5 missiles per rack since the X-wing is primarly a dogfighter and Torpedoes are to slow to use against an enemy fighter.

Sensors: The Fabritech AN-y Long Range PTVA #PA-9r and Short Range PTAG # PG-7u sensors have been replaced with a Fabritech PRVM # GAP-911 sensor array that guarantees instant missile lock-on with enhanced avionics.

Shields & Hull: The shield generators are now configured to take their power right off the Flux manifold and is redirected to a power motivator, increasing shield strength, and the hull has been treated with a chemical compound that binds the Hull molecules tighter together, so the metal is denser and harder to penetrate. I have and will be sending the formula the Verpines gave me. Our scientists can duplicate it in a Lab.

A-WING (BANSHEE)

STOCK MODIFIED

Power: 400 500

Hull: 1500 2200

Shields 2500 3500

Speed: 270 310

Accel 16 24

Roll: 60 60

Pitch: 18 28

Warheads: 12 Missiles 12 Missiles

Lasers: 2 2

Ion Cannon: 0 2

All modifications made to the A-wing are the very same as the X-wing, so all modifications will be standard for both ships for ease in training our Techs to work on. Thus eliminating the need for different parts to be on hand for repairs.

Plans for the New B-wing (Bounder) are being drawn up and will be submitted at a later date.

Kalidor Squadron

Perhaps you have heard of the new Kalidor Squadron. It's brand new and it's positions are totally open. It's for the best of the best of the Infiltrator Wing Pilots, but right now the requirements are low so the positions can fill up fast. Currently, the only requirements are:

1)Must have over 1.5 million TOD points

2)Must have all Training Badges & all Historical Combat patches

3)Must have Kalidor Crecent with the Diamond Eyes

4)Must have all Tour of Duty Medals.

5)Be willing to play custom missions

Kalidor pilots are the most skilled at flying any Rebel Fighters, and currently the Corporations are trying to develop Kalidor Class versions of the Xwing, Ywing, Awing, and Bwing. Kalidor pilots have also undergone advanced training with the Imperial 1st army Corps on Aurora. They are capable of serving for Imperial Special Operations at any moment, and are considered one of the most versatile soldiers in the Empire.

All interested applicants may want submit their Xwing *.plt files for review since their may be acceptions made while posiotions are open! Please send your pilot files to the Rebel Tactics Officer at DarkToeJam@aol.com .

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vice Admiral Jaames Crandall was sitting down at his officer when he saw that an E-file had been sent to his Comm by ADM Tav B. It had Rebel Tactics Officer:Crandall marked in the Carbon Copy section. He downloaded it and read the file inside:

"A New Threat"

During one of the pirate apprehension missions of Nu Squadron, we have learned that a new group of rebels is arising. These rebels are Imperials. Perhaps you have heard of the "Victory Strike Fleet" led by Grand Admiral Jevan Mandorzen. They were one of the Emperor's attack fleets before their Grand Admirals death. It seems their former first officer, Admiral Ramel Brodan has taken command and sees the Emperor's Hammer as a threat to him. Brodan desires to take command of the Empire, and he sees Grand Admiral Ronin as one of his opponents for that position. It seems his fleet is preparing to attack the Emperor's Hammer within the week. Although he has a large fleet, his starfighters are primarily old style Ties, Mainly the TIE Advanced. That is why I think the IW is the best Wing to launch a first attack on the VSF. The pilots of the IW have the most experience flying against TIES., and would be the best choice to take them out. And I don't think the IW will have any problem fighting other Imperials. Mobilization should commence immediately! This will probably be an excellent time to lanuch and battle-test PROJECT:KALIDOR and possibly SHADOW.

VA Crandall thought, remembering Ramel Brodan. It was three years ago, Brodan was Crandall's Tactics Instructor in the Naval Academy at Coruscant. Once during a test in Fighter Efficiency class, Brodan bust in and requested Crandall's best friend and training wingman, who had been AWOL the day before. They both walked out of the class, and the explosive spark of a blaster was heard throughout the halls. Ramel Brodan walked in the room and said, "Sorry for the interruption, you may continue." Yes, it was Bramel who was known as the victorious commanding officer at Mantooine, the invincible General at Antike, and the lethal strategist at Ehapah. But throughout the Academy he was known as a madman. A powerhungry madman no one was more feared by the students. Perhaps this battle would be an excellent chance to repay the young cadets tortured or executed for simple antics.........and perhaps Renegade and Crandall were just the ones to bring him down.

* * *

Admiral Renegade was briefing the command crew, "The Emperor's Hammer and specifically the Grand Admiral are in danger. I believe this is a great oppurtunity for the Infiltrator Wing pilots to get the respect they really deserve from the Hammer pilots. Vice Admiral Crandall, perhaps you can think of an approach."

"I already have, Admiral. I believe the IW has three advantages over the Victory Strike Force. One: Our pilots are extremely experienced with fighting Imperial Craft. Two: The VSF will be expecting an attack from rebel craft, least of all. They have no idea that we are part of the Hammer too. They will think they'll be fighting two battles. This delay will allow the Hammer to assemble a defense force and an attack force. By that time the IW will already have defeated a large portion of their fleet. By that time we may even be able to commence a capture operation. Three: I don't think that that all of Brodan's forces will be able to attack former allies. I anticipate that we may have a few ships that surrender. That's all fo now."

Grand Admiral Ronin stepped to the podium. "Thank you, Crandall. As the Vice Admiral was saying, we have many advantages. Yet, we must be battle ready within the hour. there's still alot more we don't know about the VSF, and I have a feeling we're going to find out soon. An important factor to consider is that the VSF operates out of the Longview System, which has a large exchange district that is rich in Imperial hard credits. Other than that you are dismissed. I'll be expecting Fleet status updates by 1900 hours."

In the briefing room of the CRS Despot, Lieutenant General Rojas was giving his pilots the orders for the upcoming attack. "Okay, folks, this is how it's going down..."
