RANKS AND POSITIONS
From lowest to highest:
Line Ranks:
Researcher (RE) - Finds new hex codes
Implementor (IM) - Keys in new ships
Tester (TE) - Internal "beta" tester
Lead Researcher (LR) - Leads a group of Researchers
Lead Implementor (LI) - Leads a group of Implementors
Lead Tester (LT) - Leads a group of Testers
Interim Ranks:
Head Researcher (HR) - Leads entire Research Division (REs and LRs)
Head Implementor (HI) - Leads entire Implementation Division (IMs adn LIs)
Head Tester (HT) - Leads entire Testing Division (TEs and LTs)
Command Ranks:
Captain (CP) - Commander of a small DEC ship
Vice Chief Technical Officer (VTO) - Assists CTO in his/her duties
Chief Technical Officer (CTO) - Leads all of the divisions, reports directly to CEO
Vice Chief Executive Officer (VEO) - Assists CEO in his/her duties
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Leads entire Corporation, reports to Science Officer and Tactical Officer in the EH
CEO's note: Only the CTO and the CEO may contact the EH. If one of the aforementioned cannot perform their duties, then the VTO or VEO are authorized to contact the EH.
Military Ranks in DEC:
Lowest to highest:
Flight Member (FM) - A highly trained Imperial Navy pilot. Reports to his/her Flight Leader
Flight Leader (FL) - A Flight Member who repeatedly shows themselves capable of being responsible and loyal might be promoted to Flight Leader who in turn, answers to the Squadron Commander
Squadron Commander (CMDR) - The head of a squadron. Reports to the Commodore of the VSD Stinger
Commodore (COM) - Flag Officer and Commander of the VSD Stinger. Reports to the Command Squadron of the EH
