Bloodstripe Inc. Sovereign Protector

CHASSIS: T/D

LENGTH: 20m

SHORT NAME: S-P

SHEILDS: 6000/120 SBD

HULL: 2000/20 RU

POWER: 400/ 176 MGLT

ACCEL: 31

PITCH: 30

ROLL: 52

Crew: One pilot

Consumables: 3 days max

ARMAMENTS:

4 Taim & Bak H9 Turbolaser Cannons

2 ArMek Sw-7 Super-ion cannons

2 Light vulcan plasma pulse generators

2 Dymek HM-6 missle launchers - 4 missles each

The Soveriegn Protector fulfills the need for a fast, heavy assult fighter that can engage

fighters and capital ships. For engaging capital ships, the Protector uses a Vulcan

Plasma Pulse generator that doesn't consume as much energy but is about as strong as

the full power VPPG. The alternate weapon to use against Capital Ships is the Super Ion

Cannon. On low charge the ion cannon acts as a normal turbolaser and can be used

against fighters. In great numbers, these Protectors can easily destroy a small fleet of

Mon Cal Star cruisers. In numbers of four or less they can destroy large supply convoys

and their fighter escort. These ships can also be employed as long range recon ships.

The recon ships would not use the VPPG and instead of a tractor beam, it would use a

jamming beam to prevent detection.

Since the new VPPG consumes less power, this ship can easily maintain high

shields, a beam weapon, and a high speed.

These ships are be easy to produce because of the common parts for T/D.

These Protectors are easy to service and after a battle and they can be refit and out

of the hanger in a minimum of thirty minutes.

Although this ship has nothing to do with the SSSD, it could be successfully

be used in defending the Soveriegn from a full scale attack by a full rebel fleet.

NEW SHIPS

SCIMITAR ASSAULT BOMBER

The Scimitar attacking a Rebel Outpost

(Photo: TIE CD - Md128m 3/96)

NAME: Scimitar Assault Bomber (SCIMITAR)

DESIGNATION: Assault Bomber

DESIGNER: SEOBill P (Graphics by Md128m)

MANUFACTURER: Dagger Engineering Corporation

2 Space Bomb Launchers (6 Each)

MAXIMUM SPEED: 281

CRUISE SPEED: 250

HYPERDRIVE: No

SHIELD STRENGTH: 60 SBD (Optional)

HULL STRENGTH: 60 RU

The Scimitar Assault Bomber was originally designed by Grand Admiral Thrawn as an atmospheric bomber. SEOBill P has upgraded it to perform BETTER in space! Its extreme speed lets it go in, deliver its ordinance, and get out. Its turbolasers allow it to surgically pick out targets on a ship's hull and destroy them. It needs fighter protection as it can't slow down fast enough to deal with enemy craft, but when its going at 250, you don't need to worry about enemy ships!

TIE PROTECTOR

CARGO CAPACITY: 200 Kilograms
CREW: 1 (Pilot)
PASSENGERS: None
BONUS FEATURES: Air Conditioning, E-4 Escape Pod, Heating, Cargo Space (see above), fuzzy dice, suction cup alien, floor mats, and Serve the Emperor bumper sticker :)

The TIE Protector is the most technologically advanced fighter ever. It has extreme sublight speeds that can outrun almost any other ship in the Universe, and with SLAMs, nothing can outrun it. It has a sophisticated Communications/Sensor System that lets the Commander of a battle be in constant contact with his forces. There are two very thin antennae on top of the cockpit module for Communications. These antennae also have 2 Turbolaser, and to Ion Cannon ports on them for defense. The Cockpit has a storage compartment for personal weapons, food, spacesuits, or whatever. The Fusion Reactors provide the energy needed to run the TIE Protector. The Solar Ionization Reactor is for Atmospheric flight because the Fusion Reactors release so much radiation (no harm to the pilot), that they would kill any planet very quickly (not bad if it is an enemy planet). The Protector's weapons loadout is sufficient to down almost any ship in the Universe. Couple that with its speed and maneuverability, you have the most versatile fighter in existence.

The TIE Protector is the most technologically advanced fighter ever. Its tremendous firepower lets it handle starfighters with ease, and capital ships are decimated with its dual-warhead launchers. The pilot sits with safety behind the Protector's Vector Cube Shielding System. Due to the extreme cost of this fighter, usage is limited ONLY to the Fleet Commander >:)

FLEET COMMANDER'S NOTE:

The Fleet Commander test flew and approved the new TIE Protector as his personal fighter within an hour of its arrival on the SSD Avenger...The Fleet Commander was most impressed...!

K-1 RED SKY

The K-1, warming up its Auto-Gun

(Photo: TIE CD - Md128m 3/96)

NAME: K-1 Red Sky Assault Fighter (K-1)
DESIGNATION: Assault Fighter
DESIGNER: Md128m
MANUFACTURER: Dagger Engineering Corporation
WEAPONS: 1 DEC Auto-Gun Mark IV
2 Turbolasers
2 General Purpose Warhead Launchers
1 Beam Weapon Rack
MAXIMUM SPEED: 162
CRUISE SPEED: 92
HYPERDRIVE: Yes
SHIELD STRENGTH: 140 SBD
HULL STRENGTH: 60 RU

The K-1 is was designed to replace the venerable K-12 Sky Bomber as an Assault Fighter. Since the K-12 was only a K-11 with its ion turret switched to a turbolaser turret, it was more of a fighter than an assault fighter. The Auto-Gun can lay down suppressive fire very well in single fire mode, but is even more powerful in linked mode! It channels the power of six lasers into the target making it very good for clearing turrets of of enemy ships. The Turbolasers work well to finish off a ship already crippled by the Auto-Gun. They have a limited anti-starfighter role because of their wide spread, but they do a number on capital ships and installations!

All of the above ships are on the Corporate Division Home Page which is:

http://members.aol.com/md128m/eh/corp.html

On a sad note, I will be leaving DEC for a time yet to be determined, to serve as Executive Officer of the Corporate Division. SEOBill P (now Prex Bill), has been promoted to CEO. Ideas

An idea is a bud

That must be found

They often lay hidden

Under the ground.

And once you have found

Where the idea might lay,

The bud must be nourished

Diligently, every day.

It takes time,

And patience,

And, here, skill with rhyme,

If you fail to invest these,

The bud ain t worth a dime.

But, properly fed

And with great skill led

The bud in your head

Will have speedily spread

Into a flower of beauty,

And worth.

A treasure beyond price.

Take your ideas,

Plant,

Make them grow.

Then submit your creation

To impress a CO.

For, as you probably know,

To impress a CO

Is the best way to go

Up the ladder of positions

In the EH.

Or anywhere.

A poem for Pappy,

I write here, you see,

I'm turning the tables

On poet amputee.

The doctors, they like him,

When he's in the OR.

To file off some femur.

(They can't file very far)

They're continuously cutting,

They won't stop, they're insane!

Soon, he'll be nothing

But a skull and a brain!

But Pappy, he'll make it,

He's unstoppably strong!

He even once died -

He was back before long!

He won't flee, he will fight,

Showing heroic might.

He'll defeat his foul plight

And be at peace, in his home.

Not in the hospital.

Continuum Flight Systems

CFS's famed X-21 on trial runs for the EH command staff near CFS's Sloop Graf Spree

(By CEO APixel 3/1/96)

While being forced to work for the Rebellion, CFS secretly worked on a new super-starfighter mostly intended for the inevitable battle between CFS and the Rebellion when CFS attempted to escape. Having given the New Republic a purposely fluked starfighter which detonated upon startup pending a command from CFS computers, CFS took the risk of counting that the New Republic would use CFS's dummy fighter almost exclusively in the battle. When the newly constructed CFS Super Corvette Firestorm was ready, the CFS platform was abandoned and it's guns set on computer control. Continuum Fleet Systems' X-21 Redeemer fighters and Lag-8c Barracuda Bombers nervously swarmed about the FireStorm as CEO APixel and his engineers frantically reworked problems with the untested Super Corvette. They managed to reverse-engineer the IFF Transponder to read Imperial, thus so that the EH wouldn't attempt to blow apart the S/CRV when it arrived only half a kilometer from the Avenger. The SCYTHE hyperdrive didn't go as well, and the New Republic soon found out what CFS was attempting. The Mon Cal Cruiser Intruder arrived behind the S/CRV, and the CFS fighters turned to attack, as X-21 and Lag-8c flew side by side. The incredible maneuvering jets on the X-21's enabled them to penetrate the wall of laser ack-ack without a hit, as they barrel-rolled and twisted towards the cruiser, with their Vulcan PPC's unleashing their fury in small tufts of flame. The S/CRV's single VTPS turret turned and unleashed an entire 64 Vapor Trail missile salvo, decimating a bulbous projection and both wings on the Cruiser. The Lag-8c's had less luck, some taking several laser hits before turning away, while others bore their quad arrangement of PPC's into the Intruder. As CEO APixel had hoped, the computers aboard the S/CRV registered that several of his fluke fighters were powering up. CEO APixel waited until at least 15 were maneuvering about the Intruder's hangar in preparation for launch, and then gave the command. The entire bow of the Intruder, especially the hangar, seemed to lurch in flames. With CFS pilots screaming victory into their comm mikes, the stern section of the Intruder started to go out of control as it rolled and fell about space. Electrical sparks and equipment spewed from the Cruiser. Explosions racked the Cruiser, as it turned onto it's side for the last time and finally gave a tremendous explosion as more PPC and turbo laser shots ripped into it's hull. There were no survivors of CFS' attack of rage and revenge.

The engineers repaired the hyperdrive aboard the FireStorm, and, as hoped, no more New Republic craft dared to hyper into the area. APixel gave the order, and the small armada of CFS craft jumped toward the last known location of the Avenger, as received from a CFS informant. Again, as hoped, the Avenger was still there. GA Ronin was pacing the bridge, with nothing better to do, as the Avenger was not in battle, merely waiting for a resupply from the planet it was orbiting. When CFS's S/CRV jumped into the area just 500 meters from the bridge of the Avenger, officers started working with the usual Imperial deftness as they bustled to determine what that odd-looking Corvette and her equally odd looking fighters were doing. The IFF code read Imperial, thus they didn't destroy it immediately. Suddenly, a junior communications officer heard a familiar voice over the channel at his comm module. He'd heard the same voice over the Avenger's PA system when CEO APixel had announced his Lag-2 Starfighter was approved. When the officer told his CO, the order to attack was belayed and had the S/CRV inspected. It was him, it was CEO APixel. APixel called over the radio: "Salute, SSD Avenger. We are the reminants of CFS, and request docking permissions, we have wounded aboard the FireStorm." The GA answered back personally, to APixel's great honor, "Permission granted, FireStorm and her escort. Welcome back."

On the bridge of the Avenger, with his arm in a sling and another bandage around his head, APixel told his story to a small crowd of officers and enlisted crewmen. "It all happened when I received a communique from what appeared to be another Star Destroyer about three light years away. We were the closest craft, the CFS research platform, to the ISD and it needed supplies and repairs after a battle. It turned out that it was actually a very cleverly disguised message from a New Republic Covert Operations division. When I answered affirmatively to the their request, and a New Republic Cruiser showed up on our doorstep when we had only prototypes of fighters, we had no other choice than surrender. The cruiser sent a copy of the recorded communique to the EH, to make it look like CFS was cooperating with the New Republic. To spare the lives of the CFS crew and our accumulated data, we were forced to abandon all known CFS picket fleet vessels and join the New Republic to work for them, as they had no new and technologically superior corporations, since Incom, Dodonna-Blissex, and other New Republic corporations faded into the past. When we completed the two fighters that you see in the hangar now, the X-21 Redeemer and the Lag-8c Barracuda Bomber, and had a working version of our Super Corvette that had almost impenetrable shields, we decided it was time to try to go back after we gave a fluke fighter to the New Republic. The rest, as recorded on the FireStorm's inflight and the fighter's inflight recorders, is available for all of you to see." The small crowd cheered and gave APixel numerous bear hugs, and shakes, and slaps on the back.

"It's good to be back, I missed you all." he replied.
