Brigadier General Kevin "Colton" Rogue had just stepped off the shuttle that was carrying him back from the Avenger when Lieutenant General Lee, Wing Commander of the Relentless, hurriedly walked up to him. Lee had a concerned look on his face and Rogue asked "What's going on?"

"Well, the Relentless has just intercepted an transmission a few minutes ago. It came from a Shuttle claiming to bear members of the Ubiqtorate. They're in the BlackOps, and they're not very far from here. Rear Admiral Blake has decided to help out these fellow imperials. Anyhow, we'll be hypering in to their position. They have their own Diplomatic Services escort, but Blake wants you and your Squad members to help out with the escort..."

"Well, what can I say? You know that when Dagger is needed, we're there! We've even stepped out of our escort jurisdiction to help out..." and Rogue shut himself up after that. That was back in the Sarkis and Caesar days. Now he's the Commander of Dagger, and he has to answer to the new Wing Commander. He didn't have time to acquaint himself with the new WC, and he wasn't sure how he would react upon hearing of a daring feat that Dagger pulled off under Sarkis' command (see Battle 40: Deception) He then said "I'll get my gear ready, the squad will be ready soon..."

The mission went well enough. Dagger squad went in escort formation along with the DiploSer squad, and they both brought in the BlackOps. Rear Admiral Blake and Lieutenant General Lee were both in the hangar to greet the new arrivals. Rogue hopped out from his cockpit to take a quick glance at the group of tired men who emerged form their shuttle. Blake stepped up to them.

"Welcome, gentlemen, to the ISD Relentless. I'm sure that we can accomodate your needs..."

"Where is Brigadier General Sarkis?" asked one of the men.

"Excuse me?" asked Blake and Lee simultaneously.

"Our records indicated that a Brigadier General Sarkis serves aboard this vessel. We would very much like to speak with him..."

"Well, your records must not be up to date, Brigadier General Sarkis doesn't serve aboard the Relentless anymore..." said Blake.

"He's the Wing Commander of Wing I aboard the SSD Avenger..." Rogue interjected. "Right before we escorted you in, I was out on assignment with him..."

"Well, then we shall contact him. Take me to your bridge and open a priority channel for us..."

"Ummm, I'm not sure we can do that. Since the SSSD Sovereign is being added to the Fleet, I'm not sure whether Sarkis has the time to speak with you, or even if he's still on the ship. He could possibly be on his transfer shuttle as we speak!" Blake raised his arms in puzzlement. "I'd try to help, but I'm not sure if you will reach him or not..."

"Well, we appreciate your assessment, but we will be able to contact Sarkis. Just send a message to the Avenger addressed to him, and use this as the subject: Silencer-Prime. He will answer, we assure you." The Ubiqtorate officer turned to his comrades after saying that, and they proceeded to walk out of the hangar. Blake turned to Lee and said "Let's get cracking on this." He turned to Rogue and said "You're a good friend of his, I'd like you to be there too..." And Rogue followed suit...

Lieutenant General Sarkis was filing some reports from his Squadron Commanders when the priority message icon flashed on his datapad. He put away the files and turned to his datapad and activated. He was surprised to look upon the face of Admiral Threat, the Communications Officer of the Fleet.

"Greetings Admiral Threat. This looks important, otherwise the normal comm channel guy would be talking to me. What's the scoop?"

"Well, Lieutenant General, we have a high-priority message from the Relentless. Man, this is some serious stuff, I mean we have a context rating of 10E100, the FC only reaches as high as 10E75..."

"Wait, the rating is 10E100? Is there a subject?"

"Well, the subject is 'Silencer-Prime.' Sounds familiar?"

"Whoah, link me up right now. This is some serious juju here. Thanks a lot Admiral, this sounds like a vital message..." and Sarkis procceeded to recieve the message.

"Sarkis, no doubt the context code and the subject name should bring up some old memories. Intelligence needs you again. We know that you have been flying for the Navy again, but with the death of our Emperor, you were the only one we could locate. Sarkis, meet us at these coordinates, we need to talk...." The message ended. Sarkis leaned back in his chair, absorbing the news that was just presented to him. He called up the hangar and asked for an Escort Shuttle to be prepped up ASAP...

Rogue was flying in formation with the DiploSer pilots. All of them were escorting the BlackOps to their specified location. Their orders were to protect the BlackOps at all costs. Lieutenant General Sarkis himself will be piloting an Escort Shuttle which will dock with the BlackOps and pick up the Ubiqtorate members. Then they will be safely transported to the Avenger where they will talk with Grand Admiral Ronin.

Rogue was intrigued by the appearance of these men. The fact that Sarkis is flying here himself means a lot. Ever since Sarkis became a Wing Commander, he has not seen much combat flight time. Last battle he participated in was "Unexpected Encounter" with the Deep Space Syndicate and the CSA. After that, the only time he flew something was when he and Rogue were on special assignment. Now he's flying an Escort Shuttle out here. Something really big must be going down...

Sure enough, Sarkis came on time. His ship, the Silencer docked with the BlackOps and soon the exchange was complete. After the two ships parted, some NewRep craft entered the area and tried to stop Sarkis. Luckily Dagger and the DiploSer pilots took care of the obstruction, and Sarkis and the Ubiqtorate safely hyperspaced to the Avenger. The DiploSer agents followed suit, and Rogue ordered Dagger to return to the Relentless, and punched in the coordinates himself, waiting to hear what Sarkis had to say...

"You provide a very interesting proposal. While we have had small Intel teams working over here, having the surviving members of the Ubiqtorate asking to join us is a different matter," said Grand Admiral Ronin.

"Well, we have considered other Imperial groups. Ever since the disaster at Endor, there have been too many splinter factions of the Empire. We have been monitoring all of them, and your group has the highest success rate. You've secured the Phare and Carrida systems, and even utilized the secret Aurora facilities. You also have Raemes Sarkis serving your Navy..." and John Ghriston, a Ubiqtorate member, pointed towards Sarkis acorss the table. "Raemes Sarkis has always gone to where the best are. He is in your Fleet, hence you must be the best..."

"Well, Sarkis, is this another surprise you have in store for us?" asked Ronin as he turned his chair towards Sarkis. "We all heard your story of joining the Empire after Jabba, is there something else?"

"Well, I did..." Sarkis started saying.

"Raemes, this is where you come in. We want to become a part of the Hammer, but we need someone from the other side, to balance it out. We need someone who has experience in both the Fleet and in Intelligence. You are the only surviving member of the Omega team now, our fate is in your hands..." said Ghriston.

"Did you say 'Omega Team?' I believe Sarkis has more in store for us..." said Ronin.

"Grand Admiral, we figured you would question Sarkis' origin. Allow us to shed some light..." and the Ubiqtorate officer took out a datapad and slid it across the table to Ronin. Ronin picked up the pad and looked at it. The Ubiqtorate Officer continued speaking:

"Sarkis first met with Intelligence agents when he enlisted in the Navy. We had just rescued him from a death-mark put out by the crimelord Jabba the Hutt. We erased all records of his existance except for the ones in the main Intelligence computer. The only people who knew him were people in the Navy and us. And you know about his excellent Naval record..."

"So when was he in 'Omega?'" asked Ronin.

"Well, after he participated in our Intel Op 'Bothan Eyes,' where the Emperor allowed the Bothans to partake in the shield data, we once again noticed him. We looked over his past record in the Navy, and were pleasantly suprised with the constant reports of him inspecting things and finding out conspiracies and so forth out in the field. He had a pretty good pilot record to boot. We contacted the Emperor, and setted up a meeting. Since this involves the son of an old friend and supporter, the Emperor himself wrote and signed the commission letter of transfer to Intel upon completion of service with the Navy, namely helping Thrawn find Zaarin and defeat him. Thrawn was to move on in the Unknown Regions, and Sarkis was to be taken under our wing..."

"Yet his combat file says that he served aboard numerous ships in that time period..." commented Ronin.

"A ruse. We wanted his work for Intel to be kept a secret and on a need-to-know basis. Anyhow, Sarkis was placed in Surveillance first. He did a pretty good job monitoring others. We transferred him to Destabilization, and he did his job excellently there as well. He was often inserted into an enemy installation, and was free to do his duty..."

"Which means that I shoot everyone I run into, and plant a whole lotta sequencer charges here and there. Gotta make sure I'm the only one alive afterwards..." interjected Sarkis.

"It was when we placed him in Assassination that he found his calling. Sarkis had considerable experience in the field when working for Jabba, he knew how to get around and how to stalk his prey. His high success rate attracted the eye of an Adjustments member. Adjustments talked with the Ubiqtorate about admitting Sarkis to 'Omega Team.' The preparations were made and Sarkis made his final transfer in Intelligence from Assassination Branch to Adjustments under 'Omega Team.' Since he was the assassin of the bunch, he was given the codename 'Silencer-Prime...'"

Ronin sprung up after hearing that. "Sarkis was 'Silencer-Prime?' The one who has assassinated several Rebellion Commodores and a few Committee members?"

"Yes. Sarkis has only failed two assignments: assassinating Gary Bianchi, director of Passive Ops for Rebel Intel, and Mon Mothma herself. Bianchi died later, but Mothma is still alive as you know..."

"Well, Sarkis, you don't cease to amaze me. Anyway, after hearing of your proposal, and hearing of Sarkis' record in this field, I am proud to say that I will add the Intelligence Division as the new Sub-Group within the Fleet. Sarkis will head this group, correct?"

"Would not have it any other way. We are naming you Supreme Director of the Ubiqtorate, how does that sound, Raemes?" asked Ghriston.

Sarkis was speechless.

* * *

"Lieutenant General Jordan, you are hereby promoted to Rear Admiral, and will command the Frigate Storm Wind, the new flagship of Intelligence..." said Sarkis on the comlink. "We will rendez-vous with the Subjugator soon after we are transferred there to pick you up. We also need to pick up General French from Hunter Squadron and General Caldwell from Dagger along the way..."

The actual flight went pretty well. The NewReps came in to annoy the transfer, but it went quite smoothly. Sarkis walked over to his new office aboard the Frigate, this time with the plaque stating "Supreme Director Sarkis." Sarkis smirked upon looking at that plaque...

"Uhhh, Mr. Sarkis?" asked a comm officer.

"Yes, what can I help you with?"

"Uuum, we just got our diagnostics check, and things don't look very good. The weapons systems are out of line, and the navigation computer is making the wrong calculations..."

"Wait, this sounds like a computer glitch. Input these coordinates and stay put. Use the secure channel for requesting help. I want to check on something..."

"Yes sir..."

Sarkis went to his office to think. The computer system must've been sabotaged, but by whom? Sarkis thought, and started searching some minds. He was gald of the powers of the Dark Side, for they aided in his search. He found one person:

Ghriston.

He couldn't believe it. He searched his mind for some background info, and was surprised to see that Ghriston was in fact a Passive Ops agent. During the chaos of Endor, he hacked into the computer systems to alter his record. Sarkis smirked. The Ubiqtorate must've been too preoccupied with their own survival and decided to just take along whoever appeared to be an agent.

Ghriston was sent to find out info about Sarkis. He hacked into the computer files and found Sarkis' background record. Now he could eliminate Sarkis and the rest of the Ubiqtorate all in one fell swoop. Sarkis saw that the computer was locked and was about to initiate defense and safety systems...

Guardian Squad was being sent out to handle security during the repair op. He set out to find out more about Ghriston. It seemed that he was on the hunt for Sarkis ever since he tried to kill Bianchi. The Rebellion didn't like Sarkis trying to kill their Director of Passive Ops, so they decided to retaliate. Sarkis would do the same, but with resources at his disposal.

The computer went crazy and decided to simultaneously activate all of the dispensers, lasers, replicators, and datapads aboard the ship. There was a large mess from all of the dispensed food and most of the computers were shorted out. It would take the repair crew quite a while to fix.

Sarkis allowed Ghriston to escape via shuttle. He would deal with him soon enough...

* * *

It was quite a catch what came next...

Ghriston was gathering info for a task force right near the Phare system. They were equipped for a preliminary attack and invasion of the Fleet. Sarkis was pleased with this information. The task force will be dealt with later.

Sarkis decided to sent in an assassin. "They sent one against me, I shall send one against them..."

He felt intrigued by what he just did. Sarkis ordered an assassination on someone, and it was carried out. He rather enjoyed this new feeling of power.

Sarkis was going to enjoy being the Supreme Director....
