Quite a good battle. The missions include both bombing(against enemy cruisers) and dogfighting. Also, they aren't too long or too short and the difficulty is well balanced. Except for mission 4. It isn't so hard if you know what you're doing, but it hard even on easy. Another small problem is the fact you don't fly anything except a T/D. Recommended.

I'd have to disagree with the rest of the reviews. This battle is actually very good! Although there's no real storyline and I got the feeling the creator just renamed the craft in every mission, it still is quite entertaining to face near endless waves of rebel fighters. I could have even given this battle a 4, but it had no breakpoints on briefings and some missions were too long. Elsewise, pretty good if you don't mind dogfighting for 20 minutes or so. Oh, and it is one of the few battles that run properly on my diskette version!

Excellent battle! First, while they are not incredibly easy, the missions aren't unbeliavably hard either, they are extremely well balanced as difficulty(although perhaps a little too easy at times), which makes them fun to play. And that's exactly what makes the battle good, since it doesn't have any complex or mysterious storyline - in fact its very straightforward, but that doesn't change my opinion. Very well done indeed.
