I did not enjoy this battle at all. You are in a Missile Boat the entire time, with a locked loadout. For the first three missions all enemy craft are given chaff, which means you have to dumb fire all of your missiles if you want to hit enemies reliably. There is no point in using the tractor unless you are going to laser every starfighter down with the Missile Boat, which defeats the purpose of having a missile boat to begin with. You cannot simply skip destroying the fighters, because you can fail the missions instantly if a bomber gets through, due to issues with the weapon hook bug and the chosen enemy starfighters.

Two of the missions are possible to fail without even firing a single shot. There is no variety in the missions, they are all go here and kill X thing, which may be a result of the RtF prompt, but there is definitely the possibility to work in a capture or scouting side operation in there somewhere. There are no secondary and no bonus goals at all. Mission four is particularly painful, where you have to destroy an enemy heavy capital ship by yourself while being attacked from all angles by potentially dozens of the only type of enemy fighter in the battle. If a single enemy starship is destroyed, the enemy capital ship heads to hyperspace, and you don't have the time to destroy it. For some reason enemy bombers will also fire advanced Proton Torpedoes at you, I do not know why. Some craft/mission variety, not being locked in the Missile Boat the entire time, and some bugfixes will definitely make me change my rating, but at present I found it to be a slog.

Very buggy, missions that complete themselves, confusing objectives, always getting one craft, one wave with locked loadouts, facing enemies that have advanced missiles with no countermeasures...etc

This battle has potential, unfortunately in its' current condition it is not very good. Too much waiting around as others have mentioned, not enough craft variety, lack of bonus goals and many bugs, as well as too many craft being on the field in certain missions bring it down considerably.

Very bland buggy boring missions, with one exception. For some reason all the capital ships and platforms have starfighter orders, the mission objectives are confusing (Having to leave one X-Wing alive while you destroy a platform and a bunch of containers enemy craft on an allied iff, allied craft shooting at each other, mission orders not given properly to craft), and a lack of bonus objectives plus having to laser down many high health objectives for kills make this a battle to forget. I am sure it is enjoyable on lower difficulties but it is not if you are flying it on hard.

Not very well put together for a set of training missions. A lot of the information in the battle is incorrect (the tie Bomber is not faster than any rebel craft, containers that supposedly can carry liquids carrying AT/AT parts, inaccurate warhead counts required to destroy craft) and in all the missions primary objectives do not fail the mission properly if you don't do them (not inspecting all the containers before destroying them does not trigger mission failure like it should). The missions also skip several vital pieces of information (best place to attack ships/station from, blind spot coverage, how to remove turrets and warhead launchers safely in an unshielded craft). Also quite buggy otherwise.

This battle has some good ideas, but it is not well executed. Three of the missions can be done in 2 minutes, mission 2 is impossible on hard, and in the last mission you aren't given enough craft or warheads to complete your goals. The plot of the battle is also an issue. Supposedly you don't have your hyperdrive in mission 1, but you can hyper out. Mission 2 you are stranded, but you can send all your wingmen home, you just can't leave yourself. You can only issue certain orders to your flight group even though you are a Flight group, which is rough in some of the missions. The briefings are very shallow, and there are limited bonus goals if any.

Incredibly buggy, with many strange mission balance decisions (many capital ships with starfighter orders, ships you need to capture being directly in front of mission critical craft, capital ships flying through the bridges of your mission critical craft, fighters lacking the orders to carry out mission objectives) and often there are too many craft in the battle at the same time so your waves do not arrive when they should. Sometimes you will simply fail a mission because you die at the wrong time and there will be too many craft for you to get another wave due to how the respawning system works. The mission were also the same for the most part; kill fighters kill capital ships. The recon mission was also suffered from many issues. There is also a huge gap in AI skill level in certain missions (Jedi AI vs Novice AI).

A straightforward albeit challenging first mission. Protect your VSD from bombers and the platform on hard while also dealing with 18 X-Wings. One thing to note is if you fly the Bomber role you arrive from hyperspace instead of the VSD's hangar which is strange as the T/B doesn't have a hyperdrive added.

A solid yet unremarkable battle with few bugs and a decent plot.

Far too many bugs, unclear mission goals, shallow briefings and wildly ranging in difficulty, as well as a nonsensical plot. Interdictors being used to attack Mon Cal Cruisers, capital ships colliding, fighters launching through other capital ships, not being given the proper craft for the mission & destroyed ships appearing in the next mission are just a few of the issues this battle suffers from.

Functional battle, although it is quite bland. You are in a Gunboat for every mission, your objectives are always the same; eliminate 75% of the enemy or destroy all of the enemy while protecting your cargo/craft from enemy attack. I would have liked to see some variety in craft/armaments, especially in the last mission. You work hard to get your T/A up and running and you never get to fly them; would have been nice if they were at least available at the end. It is also rather buggy.

Far too many bugs, A mission that can be beaten in 40 seconds, broken goals and a finale that doesn't actually make sense. The Assault Gunboat does not always reliably disable the Corvette before it finishes docking, meaning that the VIP's get transferred to the cruiser then it escapes. Often ships will simply come and go for no discernible reason, and boarding craft will do their objectives whether the craft they are supposed to board is disabled or not. The briefings also move too fast and are not properly done, and there are zero in-flight messages in the entire battle.

Decent story but the missions vary wildly in difficulty, are incredibly buggy, are rather confusing and the last mission is quite random for the battle. I would have expected to see some sort of fleet on fleet action at the end instead of Y-Wings and Z-95 Headhunters attacking Tie Fighters.

This was the first Jagged battle that I did not enjoy. The missions were all very short, two of them were not beatable on hard without unlimited ammo (trying to destroy a capital ship in a T/A with 16 advanced concussion missiles while your entire fleet is wiped out in one minute), mission objectives were confusing (Objective is to destroy small ships but you have to kill two full size cruisers), bizarre bugs (being able to enter the hangar in mission 4 after your capital ships are destroyed). I think the battle could definitely have had a couple more missions (maybe the Interdictor in mission 2 gets disabled and used against you later to prevent an escape, or your forces find an abandoned pirate outpost and make it functional, or hide in some asteroids from mission 3, prolonging the last stand and making it longer than a 2 minute mission.

Having to keep chaff running so that you didn't get killed by a random torpedo that just happened to cross your path was also a negative. The battle lines in mission two also didn't make sense (Interdictors at the front where they could be easily killed, no lancer or carrack cruisers for anti-starfighter defense protecting the capital ships, although it is possible this was done for plot reasons. Also rather strange that in mission 3 your ships are repairing damage but are at 100% shields/hull, and in the final mission they are at 50% and charging.

I found the missions to be a bit short, and would have liked to see some craft variety. Not sure why Chaff was given as a countermeasure when I cannot recall any enemy craft firing missiles at me. A very unique concept in terms of design, and I enjoyed seeing the use of some uncommon craft. I found staring into the sun a bit challenging in the first mission.

A buggy mess that is rather bland and often the player isn't given a beam system or countermeasure in the missile boat, and too often the entire enemy force appears at once on top of the player.

This battle is terrible. I tried flying it but gave up halfway through. Auto completing missions and missions that have no enemies should not be used multiple times in the same short battle. There are also other issues as previously mentioned the disabling mission is something else

The issue with this mission is that you just don't have the resources to deal with the threat. If you should desire to fly a T/A you lose both your wingmen. You also start with half a load of warheads, and only concussion missiles are available. You also do not get a beam system, essentially leaving you outnumbered 4:1 or 6:1 at best, and your un-shielded allies get shredded leaving you alone rather quickly.

Too many issues due to too many craft existing simultaneously, as well as your allies not working properly meaning it is you and your flight group against the entire convoy

Too many bugs, bizarre balance decisions, the same destroyed craft re-appearing mission after mission and lack of craft variety make it tedious and far more difficult than it should be. The one Tie defender mission is the mission that should be given to an Assault Gunboat, and the other gunboat missions are better suited to a Tie Defender with 2x warheads to deal with the capital ships, with a reload craft thrown in.

Not the biggest fan on this one. The primary issue is that if you do not position yourself properly, you will have a bad time. I found myself having to make sure that my invincible wingmen were always in front of me and taking aggro, or I was always heavily outnumbered. In the first mission you start under attack from 8 T-Wings, and in mission 3 if you do not position your invincible wingmen in front of you, you will be under attack from 16 razor fighters and one system patrol craft. You also have no craft on your radio throughout the entire battle, meaning you are solely responsible for taking care of all mission critical goals alone, unless your AI just happens to target that next.

It was also unusual that in mission 4 the Challenge was not a mission critical craft. The hangars facing away from the medium transport was also an issue, as anything attacking the Medium transport (which had no lasers, which was weird, one ship tasked with destroying something very important had no lasers) would be forced to take evasive action, which messed up acquiring them as targets, since when they are evading the capital ship but still attacking their target they do not register when you press E. Would have also liked to see more variety in bonus goals.

I enjoyed these missions, but agree with Jagged. The twitchy controls, especially on a joystick, make flying these fighters challenging. There are also a number of bugs which complicate things.

It would be a solid battle but it features the usual plethora of bugs, flight groups all sharing a name, bonus goals set to 0 90% of the time, bizarre goals such as inspecting your own craft & craft that leave as soon as they arrive.

A few bugs and the overall mission length being more than half an hour bring it down just a bit, but overall is quite solid and the wav pack is a nice touch.
