SERVICE MEDALS

 Service medals are awarded either for a specific act or exceptional contributions to Commander of Operations sanctioned competitions. Multiple awarding of any medal is valid except where noted in the medal descriptions. Medals listed from highest to lowest.

Order of the Legion (OL)
This medal is awarded by the Prefect to a retiring Sergeant Major of the Legion so that they may be forever remembered for the extreme dedication and personal sacrifice they put forth in order to achieve the most prestigious enlisted rank in the Hammer's Fist.
 

 
Star of Valor (SoV)
The Star of Valor is awarded to a member who places first overall in an official Hammer's Fist multiplayer match.

Emerald Star Cluster (SoV-ess): 5 wins
Ruby Star Cluster (SoV-rss): 20 wins
Diamond Star Cluster (SoV-dss): 50 wins

 

 
Cross of Destruction (CoD)
This medal is awarded to a member who places in an official Hammer’s Fist competition. The award is divided into the following attachments:

Bronze Star Cluster (CoD-bss): Awarded for placing 3rd in a Brigade-wide competition, 2nd in a Company-wide competition, or 1st in a Detachment-wide competition.

Silver Star Cluster (CoD-sss): Awarded for placing 3rd place in a Battalion or Hammer’s Fist wide competition, 2nd in a Brigade-wide competition, or 1st in a Company-wide competition.

Gold Star Cluster (CoD-gss): Awarded for placing 2nd place in a Battalion or Hammer’s Fist wide competition or 1st in a Brigade-wide competition.

Platinum Star Cluster (CoD-pss): Awarded for placing 1st place in a Battalion or Hammer’s Fist wide competition.
 

 
Combat Action Ribbon (CAR)
This medal is awarded to a member who participates in an official Hammer's Fist multiplayer match.

Copper Saber (CAR-cr): 10 matches
Bronze Saber (CAR-br): 50 matches
Silver Saber (CAR-sr): 100 matches
Gold Saber (CAR-gs): 175 matches
Platinum Saber (CAR-ps): 300 matches
 

 
Medal of Darkness (MoD)
The Medal of Darkness is awarded to those who submit any item to the Dark Legionnaire, the official Newsletter of the Hammer's Fist. This is awarded for each item separately, and not per issue.
