The Gladius base looks just like the other astroids in the large field rotating slowly around the mother star. It is a good distance away from the warmth of the star so the surface is cold and dry as the vaccum surrounding it. If one were to stand on the surface and look around one would see the slightly dim yellow star of the system and the bright dot of the nearby star system. Sometimes one would see the light reflected off the other planets in the system but they are not as bright as the dot of the nearby star.

Level 1a of the base is a docking bay.It is here that people come and go from the base. It was built out of a naturally accuring cave in the large space rock. Only a limited amount of small spacecrafts and shuttles can fit into this bay. There are two hallways leading from the back corners of the docking bay. They lead down to level two.

Level 2a contains the mess hall, bar, and medical office. It also contains a large room in which new members are greeted and initiated into the clan. There are a few lifts located around level two that lead down to the other levels.

Level 3a contains all the living quarters for the members of Gladius. They are free to adorn their rooms how ever they like but all get the same amount of space no matter their rank. Each room and hallway was carved out of the rock many years before Gladius was to be.

Level 4a contains the library and temple. The library is very spacious and filled from wall to wall with old books, scrolls, and tomes for members to read. There are many tables which members can use for study and writing. There are also many comfortable chairs and couchs should the members want more comfort while they read. The temple is a place where members are given their rites to move up in the ranks. It is a place of silence and blood. The entrance is a forboding skull that opens up to a room with an altar in the middle. Candles adorn the walls and cast their eerie light around. Upon the altar is a crystal knife that never stains with blood, a cold obsidian cup that absorbs the blood, a wooden box with unknown contents, and a candle whos flame never dies and never casts light.

Level 5 is the heart of the base. It contains the cloaking device, gravity generators, atmospheric generators, power generators, and a small control room. The control room is constantly manned to ensure that no other astroids hit the base and that the generators keep running. When another astroid is on a collision course with the base, those who have small spacecraft are notified and given the job to either destory the rock or knock it off course.

Level 4b is a large collection of training rooms with holoprojectors. It is here that the members hone their lightsaber and fighting skills on different terrains. There are also a few lounge areas for members to rest and have a small snack or drink after their training.

Level 3b is much like the living quarters only it is here that individuals can meditate in their own private space. Most spaces contain nothing more than a rug on the floor and a candle. The decoration of each room is dependent on the member who uses it.

Level 2b contains all the meeting rooms the house needs. There is a large one for all members of the house to congregate in. There is a smaller one for each battle team up to four teams. There are three even smaller meeting rooms for diplomatic meetings. There is one special meeting room that is not available to any member of the house except for the AED and QUA. This secret meeting room is used only when special meetings between the CON, PCON, AED, and QUA are held.

Level 1b is nothing of interest. It is here that supplies are stored and waste is recycled.
