Welcome to the advanced writing course...and no, don't worry, this is not specifically about grammar, spelling and the like. This course is more about the content, your writing style and a guideline on how you, hopefully, will become a betterwriter and thus have better chances to win in writing-based activities (story submissions, run-ons and the Dueling Instituteof Eos, specifically).

One important thing I would like to give you on your way is the advice to read good books. You are not supposed to copy their style, but especially for those of you who do not speak English as their primary language, reading English (Star Wars related) books is an excellent way to get to know the way to write things.

Two more things before we come to the content of this course. The first thing is just a sidenote: You will not find anything about poems in here...there is a special course for that. Second part is: Don't see writing as annoying, nasty... work. It is a chance for you to live your fantasy, to share it with others and perhaps make them see the things you see in your head.
