: VII. Conclusion :

Zekk turned off his holoprojector and a panel beneath it opened, allowing it to slide into an opening in the floor. The lights came up as Zekk, at the head of the auditorium, assumed a solemn tone for a moment.

He looked out across the students--men, women, aliens--all of whom wanted to be not just pilots but leaders in our Empire. Most, if not all, were leaning forward across their desks to hear the next word. Zekk spread his hands out, palms outward.

"Twenty-four years ago, our glorious Empire suffered a defeat at Endor from which we never recovered. A year after that, our fate was sealed at Jakku. Now, a government who saw its roots in terrorism and subversion dominates our galaxy. They dominate the galaxy because we failed in our duty to our loyal citizens, and all we have worked so hard to build came crashing down because of our hubris at Endor.

"But the Emperor's Hammer...we have persevered. We have persevered because of our bonds of brotherhood, sisterhood, and alienhood. Through these bonds we have risen from the ashes of our Empire like a phoenix, to become the most powerful Imperial Remnant still standing. When we were few and they were many, we never quit flying for the Empire.

"You, future leaders, are the Empire's strength. You are more than just pilots. You are the finest the Empire has to offer--you are pilots, yes, but also leaders, teachers, and role models. You will save Imperial lives as fast as you end Rebel ones. And when they're parading us through the streets of Coruscant one day, it will be because you placed a new Emperor on the throne.

"Go, leaders of the Empire. Go and lead us to victory. Class dismissed."
