Carrida Base

It was a wonder no one spotted him, a man, much the same height as the other storm troopers, dressed in black civilian attire, he had no real purpose on the base, at least, no real purpose as far as the Hammer\\\'s Fist was concerned. He was merely watching the assault transports take off and head towards the embattled city of Reyer. It was a rather exhilirating feeling watching so many unseuspecting troopers file off to their death without a single worry about it.

As the transports lifted over the walls of the base he tapped his secure comlink. \\\"Fist Home, this is Rover One, They are on their way\\\", two clicks came back over the comlink signaling an affirmative. That was the masked figures job done, now all he had to do was escape. He had almost made it across the parade ground before the Prefect stopped. Sithspit, they must have detected an outgoing transmission, It was time to effect his escape

Pulling his SSK-7 Blaster pistol out he aimed at the Prefect hoping to get a lucky shot, wounding or maybe even killing the Prefect, he was suprised when this Stormtrooper did not flinch, he merely walked towards him, as though the blaster pistol wasn\\\'t there, he lowered his hand.

His voice was amplified through the helmet speakers \\\"Who are you? And what are you doing on my base?\\\"
\\\"My name is of no consequence, I presume I adress the prefect?\\\"
\\\"You do, you are under arrest for violating the security of an imperial facility, you will be taken away for processing\\\"
\\\"I find that to be unlikely Prefect\\\" he almost spat out the title \\\"For the Black Fist\\\"

With that he tried to pull up his blaster to get a shot at the Prefect. He hardly had enough time to twitch his arm before one of the prefects hands shot down to catch his rising arm, and the second shot out to catch his throat. \\\"Perchance you did not hear me spy, I said, You are under arrest for violating the security of an imperial facility, you will be taken away for processing\\\"
\\\"Death before Capture\\\" and with that he slid a knife out of his robes and tried to stab the Prefect.

Suddenly he found himself floating a few feet away from the Prefect in the air, unable to move. \\\"What have you done to me? You are Jedi?\\\"
\\\"Oh Yes, you should have surrendered, at least then you may have survived.\\\"

What followed happened almost to quickly for the naked eye to follow. Keth reached to his belt, unclipped his lightsaber, ignited it and heard the familiar snap hiss, with a savage swing, he neatly severed the spy\\\'s head, turned off his lightsaber and had it clipped to his belt before the body his the ground.

\\\"Carrida Control, this is the Prefect, send someone to retrieve this spy, inform Lieutenant Kal the Black Fist are expecting him\\\"

A Raise the Flag competion will be held over a two week period commencing May 4th and ending at the stroke of midnight on May 17th.

Format will be as the previous comp, with scores tracked on the MBs. Flags will be consulted for necessary additions over the next few days with a list of battles to be flown released on May 1st.

TC Flagship and TCCOM Escort Squadron titles will be up for grabs as well as a ridiculous amount of medals.

With less than ten squads this means that everyone has a realistic chance of success and that individual efforts will be essential to the success of squads and ships.

Stay tuned for further details

Deadline for Prae CMDR Apps

Jarek La’an

A significant amount of time has now passed with zero interest in this position. The recent TC restructure reduced Elite squads from 2 to 1, with Prae retained conditional on solid activity and performance defined by their own high standards for elites.

So far these standards have not been met, but it is not beyond reason that with a good CMDR the necessary changes can be made and a new lease of life found.

However if I do not receive any suitable apps within 48 hours I will be forced to look at alternative courses of action and consult with the SOO further.

State of the Executive Office of the Legion
Presented by Brigadier General Rico Stone

Let us face it, Troopers of the Legion, the Office of the Executive Officer of the Hammer\'s Fist Stormtrooper Legion is in a state of rubble to the state of non-existence.  A month and a half ago on Thursday, 19 February 2009 I left for Las Vegas, Nevada, USA to take the United States Border Patrol Agent Test (and passed) and since then I have been very busy in real life.  But now things have settled down though still going strong.  I can now dedicate more time to the Legion.  I am laying out a step-by-step agenda to get the Executive Office of the Legion back on track and recovery to prosperity and glory.

1. Finish Operation Cleansing Fire
This operation ended a few months ago and I have not yet finished grading everything and getting out the results along with medals.  This is my first goal to get done.
Goal Completion Date: Saturday, 18 April 2009

2. Finish Operation Fiery Obelisk Website
I have to take to the Commander of Operations and see if it is worth getting a website up for this operation.  If so then it will be completed after Task #1.
Goal Completion Date: Tuesday, 21 April 2009

3. Staff the Executive Office of the Legion
I can\'t do it alone and I want the Executive Office to be an interactive place for the Troopers.  So I need to bring people onboard to help me with projects.

-Assistant to the Executive Officer of the Legion
This person will be my right hand Trooper but will still be in a line squad and their dedication must be to their squad first and this office second.  They will also be the Chief Editor of the Dark Legionnaire as the Executive Officer of the Legion is Editor-in-Chief.
Goal Completion Date: Sunday, 26 April 2009

-Editor of the Dark Legionnaire and Editorial Staff
I need people to help me with the Legion Newsletter and looking for the following: Design Editor, Graphics Editor, Article Editor.
Goal Completion Date: Sunday, 26 April 2009

4. Three Fold Step
The next part of goal will be three fold:

-Complete revision of the Field Manual
The Prefect of the Legion and I have worked on most of this and now we just need to finish it.
Completion Goal Date: Saturday, 2 May 2009

-Get the Dark Legionnaire to be a quartly newsletter
With the Assistant of the Executive Officer of the Legion staff and having an Editoral Staff they will begin work on the next issue of the Dark Legionnaire.
Next Issue Goal Date: Saturday, 16 May 2009

-Establish Executive Officer Website and Communications
We all need a place to call home and the HFXO is no different.  To put up projects, reports, DL issues, and more.
Completion Goal Date: Saturday, 16 May 2009

5. Start-up The Trooper\'s Post - Weekly Newsletter
Something I\'ve been waiting to get going for some time but still working on it.  Wish to have the first issue of The Trooper\'s Post out shortly after Task #4 is complete.
First Issue Goal Date: Sunday, 17 May 2009

This is the step-by-step agenda for the Executive Office of the Hammer\'s Fist.  If you have any questions please contact me.

Respectfully,
Brigadier General Rico Stone
Executive Officer of the Hammer\'s Fist

Praetorian CMDR Vacant

It is my sad duty to report that COL Frodo March has turned in his CMDR position in favour of a Prae FM spot. I would like to commend him for his honesty and dedication to the squadron rather than himself, and thank him publicly for all that he has done.

Therefore the position of Praetorian CMDR is now open for applications, with all worthy candidates on an equal footing although previous command experience is a must, and I will be looking for an active officer who can lead by example and prove worthy of an Elite command spot.

Applications go to me at fo@emperorshammer.org with a clear subject, and all potentials will be examined by myself in concert with COL March.

So, it has been merely two days since the new manual was released, and it already was updated.

Despite numerous proof reads, two minor bugs have been found - the links to TIE Corps website was named as 'Emperor's Hammer website' and the LoC upgrades were inaccurate.

Both of these bugs were fixed and the corrected manual has been re-uploaded thanks to Fleet Admiral Dempsey. Thanks to all who noticed the bugs and informed me.

On further news, the HTML version of the manual is almost done thanks to the courtesy of General Rancorous and should be online soon.

DGM Report # 1

01 April, 2009 04:00
17 ABY

 <Bow>

  Greetings!

I am Krath Pontifex Hades and I am the new DGM of the Dark Brotherhood. Now some of you may know me, some of you may not. But those who do know me also know that I am easy to get along with. I am hoping the rest of you will come to find that out in the near future. But for now, I will give you a little bit of a run down of my history.

I joined the EH TIE Corps August 1st, 1997 (yes I've been in the EH for almost 12 years now :P ). A few years later, in October of 2000 I joined the Dark Brotherhood and Clan Tarentum. I have held every type of normal leadership position in the Brotherhood from Phyle Leader (or Battle Team Leader) all the way up to being CON of Clan Alvaak. I have made many friends in the DB and the EH as a whole. I have met quite a few of them at various conventions and amusement parks around the US and I'm always up for more.

In the EH TC, I held every regular line command position from Flight Leader to Wing Commander. I'm also a former member of Omega Squadron and the former Recon Officer for the EH for several years. I slid into semi-retirement at the rank of Krath Pontifex and Fleet Admiral respectively.

But enough about the past it's time to look at the future.

** Competitions **

Now I will be running a DB-Wide fiction comp soon, probably in the next few weeks. The awards will be both for your Hets and for individual placement. So participation is key. Details of this event will be posted in my next report, but it will be safe to assume that the winning Het will be able to add to their Order of Battle.

Other comps will be forthcoming once I'm able to run them smoothly. Keep an eye out for more.

** Recruitment **

Recruitment is going to be a big item for me. In the coming weeks and months I going to start pushing this across the board. I want members to start actively recruiting fresh faces. The more members we have, the more we can expand our Hets and our activities. So just keep that in mind next time you happen to run into someone who shares your like for all things Star Wars. Who know's, they might be our next member.

** Communication **

Now some of the Hets have a problem with this, some don't. Dempsey's Het doesn't seem to have a problem with communication in the least and that is the kind of thing I want to see from the rest of you. The most active people are the ones who are most interested in either the material or the people involved. If your Het starts to communicate more that usually leads to friendship and friendship are the backbone of any club. If I hadn't made any friends in this club I probably wouldn't be here now. It's been a really fun 12 years and I look forward to many more. So Het Summit especially, start pushing communication a lot. You don't have to be sending a report or ask a question to talk to your Het. Keep that in mind.

Ok, that wraps it up for this report. If anyone has a question or just wants to chat, send me an email or catch me on IRC. I'm usually there just about every night.

Till next time..
