LO Report # 8 (2004-11-06)

This report was submitted by VA Jeron Darkonis Astoris

Please keep in mind as I mentioned in my email report that I'm still in the midsts of
midterms. I will be done after this week and then I can maintain a normal schedule.

LO Projects:
Codex: I'm constantly working on this. Expect recent appointments and CS changes to be
added tomorrow

File Archive: Trido, my newly appointed LOA, is hard at work on this project and so far I
like his ideas. I will make an update with my next report.

Memorium: I'll be getting my staff to work on this while I finish up with midterms and then
step in and help once those are finished

10th Anniversary: I will be attaching the full schedule to next week's report for review by
the brass. This is a more comprehensive one than that which appeared in the report a few
weeks ago. It has all events for the competitions with judges and start times as well as
scheduling for the virtual RL meeting and Awards meeting, plus those who will be getting
10th anniversary awards. At the moment, it's on paper, but I will be typing it up once I've
finished typing or studying for my midterms.

Also I'll ask if Drax might have the bandwidth/space to hold the MB's. That way for the
time being perhaps we can host it on the LO database. If not, you might ask Mell. He's
purchased some webspace for himself at www.tcbg.net and is already working on the
EHPA site for SWG players. I don't know how much he has, but that could be an alternative
if you'd been looking for one.

Finally this week, I would like to remind everyone that the Logistics Office staff will be the
primary hosts of the 10th Anniversary events. As we get closer, I feel a great sense of
pride. The EH has endured many crazy events, including some very recently but somehow
we've survived. I love this club just as much as I did 8 years ago when I first joined, and
even during my exile I endured to return. Being on the command staff has really brought
home to me just how great it is to be with all the friends I've made during my time here,
both old and new. It's going to be a lot of fun in Jan 2005 not only to host these events
but maybe even to remincise about some of our triumphs and tragedies.

Until next week,
LO/VA Jeron "Obiwan" Darkonis Astoris/CS-11/SSSD Sov
