Generals

General Maximilian Veers

General Maximilian Veers was a human male from the planet Denon in the Inner Rim Territories. A seasoned officer, he took part in over a dozen battles including conflicts against the Zalorians on Zaloriis and the Culroonians on Culroon III. He was even stationed on the Death Star, in recognition of his abilities, though he was not on board during the Battle on Yavin.

After Yavin he was tasked with hunting down enemies of the Empire including a Governor and former senator Johhar Kessen.

He became a respected General famous for his part in the successful ground assault on Echo Base on Hoth. A T-46 airspeeder later crashed into Veers's AT-AT's cockpit but while the walker was destroyed, General Veers survived.

Veers was a brilliant tactician, as well as a cool and efficient officer. Never asking his troops to do something he wouldn't himself. He often put himself in harm's way to lead from the front line, wearing Imperial officer battle armor, more protective but making him stand out as a prime target for our enemies.

Fiercely loyal to Vader, he wholeheartedly committed to any whim Vader had which garnered pull and respect from the Imperial hierarchy.

Some accomplishments include
  • His insights on the nature of the Rebellion and the cause and effect of the Empires constant attacks were seen as valuable to Darth Vader. Believing that some of it was confirmed by Princess Leia's own comments while aboard that Death Star.
  • In 3 ABY and after the execution of it's initial supervisor, Major Yaltza, General Veers was put in charge of the operation where thousands of droid probes were sent out in search of the Rebellion's hideout and was transferred to the Executor, the flagship of Vader's fleet.
  • An effective and decorated officer, Veers had the respect of his peers thanks to an impressive record of ground combat. His calm demeanor during battles earned him the respect of Darth Vader.
  • Veers chose to keep a low profile in front of Vader until he recognized his moment and took advantage of it. Fiercely loyal to him, Veers wholeheartedly committed to any whim Vader had which garnered pull and respect from the Imperial hierarchy.
  • Commanded from the front of a squadron of AT-AT walkers against Rebel forces on Hoth. Even personally destroyed the base's shield generator that powered their deflector shield, leading them open to bombardment and invasion.
