Security Office News

Well, a bunch of people were just HCI'd for cheating. Zeth Durron has been officially expelled from the Emperor's Hammer for his 2nd cheating offense - that means he can't be in IRC channels (as far as I know), he's to be removed from all rosters, etc. Remember the first punishment for cheating results in you being stripped of all rewards/medals/rank/etc and the second offense is expulsion. Don't let it happen to you.

The HCI (to my knowledge) has started a few new cases with the ending of those cheatin cases; see a HI report near you for details.

Articles of War are currently undergoing changes; some changes are drastic some are not. It's going to be a lot better for everyone in the end.

-Internet security matters.
The latest virus threats can be found online here (opens a new window). It also provides documents on new computer threats, fixes, and other useful information.

-Faster timeframe for issues to be resolved, brought to the HCI, etc.
My queue is clear. HCI still has several cases pending.

-Revise Articles of War and Bylaws in consultation with relevant parties.
