So...the story is excellent, and I personally don't have an issue with Praetorian Squadron being used for spying in their non-standard craft.
Now...first, m3, the fire power given to the player is very little compared to the HP of the craft you have to destroy and the wingmen won't attack the caps either so the only way I could find to kill the M/SC in time was to focus on it 100% of the time and therefore missed out on the fun of the dogfighting. Second, m3 has you have to destroy 4 caps...but they are still alive in m4. Then in m5 the player FG doesn't have any orders so all your wingmen just hyper away the instant the mission starts which really reduces the firepower you have available. So 5 from the story, minus 1 for each issue...which is a shame as I really enjoyed the story and m1 and m2.

This one bad, alright. The plotline was appealing and not badly carried out. Actually I liked the ideas behind every mission. The fact it referred to the ID and Praetorian elite squadron though, made me spill my coffee. Author could have picked any other squadron or even another unit, a totally new one, from the IntelDiv. But Prae flying B-Wings? Unshielded TIE Fighter? What the heck was wrong the day this battle was conceived?. Be prepared to fly unshielded T/Fs in a variety of stupid and impossible to complete roles. B-Wings dogfighting T/As? This was the worst. People, skip this one. There are golden nuggets out there. This is just a spoiled good idea, turned into rotting charcoal.

1 point for a decent story idea, -10 points for realization. Destroying friendlies, dual goals, destroying ships that are back next mission, Praetorian flying B-wings ??? This needs a lot of work!

No doubt, this is the worst battle ever made. Here are a few features: your flight group confirms orders, but rarely follows them, and rarely attacks anything; the fighters you use are always inappropriate; the names of the enemy flight groups are lame, like "Destroy"; the places where you enter the battle suck (too far away or close to a frigate); and in the last mission, your flight group goes home as soon as it shows up. You'll often find yourself fighting three superior fighters all alone (like your unshielded Tie Fighter against three shielded Tie Interceptors). Try flying this on hard... if you miss space bombs!

Well due to the fact this one features Prae I liked the battle, I just didn't like the fighters we got stuck using in the battle (where's our T/P's?);p.

Mission 1: player's flight group has a hyperpoint, but doesn't use it to go home. Mission 4/5: You're supposed to destroy the Pappy in mission 4, but it shows up again in mission 5. Mission 5: Flight group T/A Assassin crashes into SSD Avenger after the first wave.

BoP-ID1. BoP CD. Basicly I with difficulty was able to do the missions save mission 2 where i recieved a negative score, demotion, and reprimand in game because it demanded i destroy friendly craft. 'This is a friendly Craft - Destroy It' I have one missions left to fly in this battle then I am submitting as is.

Completely agree with the other bug report. Especially mission 3 which is particularly hard to complete because of the bugs and your lack of a serious arsenal.

How did this ever get through testing? Massive problems with flight group orders on pretty much every mission. Fighters don't attack each other, they just fly around their flight path/patrol in circles (both friendly and hostile). Also, for some reason, you couldn't use the Shift+A to get your wingmen to attack. They ignored the orders and just continued to follow their flight path. Mission 2: Change the friendly warlords figthers to a different IFF color. As it stands, the objective of "destroy them all" includes all with the purple IFF code, meaning, to beat this mission, you have to shot down allied fighters/craft. Mission 3: The bonus craft are required to beat this mission. Judging by the design of the mission, I do not believe that destroying the retreating craft was supposed to be required to beat the mission. Mission 5: Your wingmen hyper out at the very start of the battle. That is just a few things I saw. This whole thing needs extensive reworking.

Plotline:
Allies of the Emperor’s Hammers have been attacked recently by forces claiming to be the personal armies
of GA Ronin. Ronin, knowing nothing of these attacks, has ordered EH Intel to investigate and put an end
to these attacks by an unknown enemy claiming to be the right hand of the EH and GA Ronin. EH Intel has
caught a lead, and is calling in their elite squadron, Praetorian, to be used as field operatives to
discover who's behind these attacks, and to put an end to them for good before they cause any more
damage to the reuptation of the EH.

Note: If you're having a problem with a mission in this battle... the best trick is always to lower
the difficulty level. I have made hard just what it should be: *hard*. And while it may be a challenge,
if it's begun to frustrate you, it's time to just move on. Have fun with it above all else, and if you
don't like having to work a lot on a mission, then don't use the higher difficulty ;)
