Description/Remarks: Wonder what happens to all those TIE Fighter spare parts? Who knows, let's find out!

Submitted for Competition: TIE Corps Exercise: Squadron (Re)Mobilization 6

It was quiet within the TIE Corps, all pilots have completed their previous training against the Kilji horde, recovering from their losses, the Emperor's Hammer gathers their forces.

Piles of debris line the hangars, with wreckages of tie fighter parts, engines, and lay across the hangar space. The competent grounds crew begin cleaning up the mess and salvaging what they can.

“In all my years in service I have never seen such a mess! What happened here?”

Lieutenant Lenny grabs a broom and begins sweeping parts into a corner as he makes a large pile of broken parts. Another worker enters the hangar and yells out to Lenny.

“Hey Lenny, it's me, Ranger, command sent me to lend a hand here. Looks like you could use the help.”

Ranger looks over to Lenny and sees him remove his cap, revealing a shiny yet sweaty bald head. Name grabs a towel from his pocket and wipes off his excess sweat.

“Thanks for coming over here Ranger, so, as you can see we have our work cut out for us. We have all this debris that we haven't cleaned out yet. Yeah yeah, I know. Droid work am I right? Well, the thing is normally the droids would be cleaning this mess but one of our pilots decided to make a crash landing into the hangar, wiping out all our droids!”

“That's terrible! How long is this going to take? I only have an hour before I need to report back to my commander”

“Well then lets hop to it! Help me with this TIE paneling”

Ranger and Lenny hoist up the first panel from the pile and place it onto a loader lift. They work meticulously until all the panels are off the hangar floor.

“Okay, that's the last one. Looks like we're finished.” says Lenny.

“Phew, I guess I can skip my workout today! This was more work than I thought it would be. If that's all, I'll be heading out now” says Ranger.

“Thanks for your help, if it wasn't for you this mess would still be here. The admirals wouldn't be too pleased, they might have assigned me to airlock 64. Well, see you around.” says Lenny

As Ranger leaves, the loader lifter begins to spark. The machine erupts into a large inferno, igniting all the panels in one bright spectacle. Shortly after, the loader drops to the floor exhuding a large sound which echoes throughout the halls.

Lenny lets out a heavy sigh. “So much for all that work, I'll never get out of here anytime soon!”
