Additional notes by Samekh CMDR: LCM Derf's activities in recent months has not led to many assumptions of his abilities as an officer or pilot in the TC. However, during the last two weeks of July his activity made a tremendous turn-around and he has been extremely active in his flying, IWATS, etc. He has promised that this activity will continue to increase and remain from now on. I suspect it has something to do with the rivalry between him and the pilot he recruited, LT Sancho. LCM Derf also aspired to win back as many of the squadrons lost Battle Citations as he was able to. In so doing Samekh received an additional 6 citations from his activity! LCM Derf's activity and achievements during the month of July have set him apart from all of the other pilots, and I am therefore awarding him with the title of "Samekh's Pilot of the Month forJuly"!! J
