Well, the Tie Corps Site is back up, and that means we've got some functionality back. Wing IX still dosen't have it's
roster fixed, but that should come this weekend. You can view complete detials of the Tie Corps news at ehtiecorps.org The Training Officer, Fleet Admiral Keldorn resigned this week, with RA Drako taking his place XvT Week of War is just about over now, a little late for that :p And again, members with pins greater then 11300 need to email thier BGCOM for instructions on rejoining! |

This week say the promotions of CPT's La'an and Tobri. Hmmm..congratulations on thier promotions! Also, all MSE's have been
turned in, and as of such, I've just sent the MWE on to BubbaX. With MSEs, the following officers have been promoted: LCM Voort SaBinring, you are hereby promoted to the rank of Commander! LT Morpheus, you are hereby promoted to the rank of Lieutant Commander! And, the following officers are awarded the following medals... CPT La'an, CPT Lanidet Tobri, and MAJ Mosh are awarded the Imperial Security Medal None of these are official by any means. Normally I wouldn't do this, but with the database issues, I've decided to announce them early. There also may be other stuff coming down from higher ups that I can't do, time shall tell. Please do NOT use your new ranks, or add your medals to your idlines until these are official from the database! In other wing news, the WC, myself will be on semi-leave today until Monday, and the COM will be on leave from Tomorrow ( Saturday), until Tuesday. We've appointed Laan and Keller as A-WC and A-COM, in case anything comes up, tho myself or Bubba should be able to handle anything between the two of us. Tuesday, however, I am leaving for Germany in the mid-morning. From then on, I don't know when exactly I'll have Internet Access. Bubba will cover the wing as for as anything sudden, Captain La'an will cover my report in the highly unlikely event I don't have internet access back by next Friday. We've also got a website now, located at wingix.tiecorps.net And finally, we've gotta new competition, go me :) |

and announcing it now :) Thorin Comes Aboard Hmmm....Competition Goodness. This competition is all about Thorin coming aboard the ship. How's that for ego ? Now, heres the real competition goodness. It's really a bunch of competitions rolled into one, hows that for SHINEY MEDALS ? ;) Alright then... Thorin Comes Aboard - WING IX COMPETITION Open to all members of Wing IX. Begins Friday, May 28th and runs until Thursday, Jun 17th. Nice Long Competition :) All competitions have thier own rules and awards, and additionally, each competition has "points" attatched to it. The SQUADRON who earns the most points during the competition will earn the honor of being named the Wing Commander's Own. FCHG Race - This is your standard FCHG race. With the FCHG on the database being messed up right now, we're gonna just go by the number of missions flown during the competition. All Missions and Battles are eligable. For a mission/battle to count, simply mail it to myself (thorin@corporatesector.net) instead of to your CMDR (CC your CMDR still so he can count it for activity, CMDRs, don't BSF anything for the competition). At the end of the competition, I'll BSF all of the missions, and the person with the most missions flown will earn themselves an IS-SW and the runner up will recieve an IS-BW. Yeah! Every mission flown counts as one point towards the Wing Commander's Own Award. Wing IX Banner - With a new WC, why not have a new wing banner ? This ones pretty straight forward, design a Wing Banner for the Tie Corps roster, and submit it to myself (thorin@corporatesector.net). Best submission (to be judged by myself) will recieve an IS-SR, runner up will recieve an IS-BR. Each Banner Submitted (you can submit more then one) earns 1-5 Points towards the Wing Commander's Own Award, depending on the quality and how much I like it. Thorin Comes Aboard the ISD Relentless - This is a fiction competition. Basically, write a piece of fiction (250 words minimum) about what happened when Thorin came aboard the ship. Please, for the love of the emperor, don't make this boring :->. It should be something funny, involve people from the ship, etc. Feel free to make the funnys at my own expense, it won't hurt you :p. The best piece of fiction will earn a IS-SR, and the runner up will recieve an IS-BR. Each piece of fiction is worth 1-5 points, depending on the quality and how much I like it. LoC/DFC Race - While I can't make this an official competition for ISs, I can make this count for WCs Own. For every LoC that you earn, you recieve 1 point. For Every DFC that you earn, you recieve 2 points. Simply forward your database email of being awarded the respective medal, and the points will tally up :) So, in a recap...6 Medals up for grabs, and the title of Wing Commander's Own for one of the squadrons. Get crackin boys... you've got 21 days :) |
