Greetings pilots and miscellaneous officers. Welcome to my first shiny weekly report in this exciting new position. You will find that my reports are somewhat informal, and will mostly consist of my insane rambling.

 

This week I'll outline a few operational issues that I have been meddling with this week. Settling in as a new COM is quite interesting. *grin* The first issue is communication. MAJ Brucmack will have the responsibility of formally addressing the lovely pilots of Wing XIII in pretty much all cases. Anything that need to go up the chain of command for action will go via Brucmack to myself. This should keep things very simple and avoid any duplication of efforts or stepping-on of toes.

 

Major updates to content on the Grey Wolf website are due. I'llbe working with Brucmack to effect them over the coming week, so stay tuned!

 

The issue of transfers won't go away. I have been asked to remind you all that there is a procedure to follow and it is there to make the lives of everyone as painless as possible. A rule of thumb I would encourage all to use is that if you are contemplating any transfer of change of position, tell the person who is your direct superior. So many times this does not happen, and they end up being the last to know. Let's try and be nice to those looking out for us okay?

 

I know I'll be stealing some of Bruc's thunder here, but I can't help myself sometimes. :) Another major appointment: Ayudanter to Tartarus CMDR! Congratulations mate and welcome to the leadership team! You have a really big job in front of you. Enjoy!
