COM Report #1, ISD Relentless - RA La’an 5/11/04

Introduction

Well, what can I say of the recent weeks events. We’ve lost a COM, gained a COM, and left WC vacant. While the circumstances were beyond terrible, I’m very happy to replace Thorin as COM - I can only hope and do my utmost to ensure the ships continued excellence. Hopefully this report will be the first of many, and I can look forward to a long and productive time on the ship.

Remarks

Activity has been good. Rather than my usual WC detail, ill leave it at a general assessment. ECR seems to be the only thing most pilots are doing, but that’s ok, for the time being.

Current Comps

ECR is running well, with submissions pouring in for all sections. The flying deadline is in 4 hours, but I have already submitted the Rel’s scores; I can’t see anyone else flying. 14 out of 24 pilots flew this first round, something I hope we can repeat in the second round. Of the 10 that didn’t fly, one was a new SL and can be excused - the others have no excuse. Greven did everything - and he’s in the RESERVES! Anyway - those of you that haven’t already done the graphic or fiction, get to it. 25 minutes should see it all done, and send it to the new WC and myself (when he is appointed tomorrow).
