Office News
This
week we've been beginning to pull together all the pieces of the
Auroran News Network, which hopefully will be released by the
end of the month. I've been working with Pri to see to it that
we get it out on time.
VA
Leeson is working on the Hawkeye II Trailer which will
be COMPLETED next week and available for your viewing pleasure!
And
probably one of the most important announcements in a while: The
boards on the TC Message Center will be moving to the EH Message
Boards within LESS THAN A WEEK. This is because of excessive
traffic on the TC site that needs to be reduced.
Next
week I hope to release the EH Counter Service, created by Alex
Foley. All that remains this week is to come up with a few new
counter designs.
VIRUS
ALERT:
Members of the CS have been receiving KLEZ viruses originating
from sources mchsi.com and nifty.com. If anyone uses either
as their ISP or e-mail provider, you MUST scan your computer for
viruses immediately! I will continue my investigations as to where
this virus may be originating from.
A
few reminders to all members: All your sites MUST comply with
the Internet Guidelines (link is below). This includes linking
your site to the EH Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. The IO Staff
will randomly spot check sites. If your site doesn't comply, you
will be e-mailed and asked to correct it. If we receive no response
within 48 hours (without good reason) or a negative response,
the Internet Office will issue an order banning external links
to your site. Or, if your site is hosted on MinosNIC, it will
be temporarily deactivated. So just don't say I never warned you
:)
