Office News
For
anyone who has not yet noticed, EHNet version 3.0 is here! With
many thanks due to Keldorn, Kweeky and most of all Turtle, we
now have the Internet Office site back up and fully functional.
This design is completely hand-coded by Turtle himself (as well
as me a small bit), so it is very versatile and adaptable to whatever
our needs may become.
One
very cool feature is the unified login between EHNet and MinosNIC.
Now, for almost all IO sites which require a login, you will be
able to use one username and password for your convenience. Another
thing which you will notice is the ratings feature for Sites of
the Week. This helps me when choosing people to receive CoEs.
In order to be qualified (pending the IO's decision) for
a CoE, you should have gotten 3 different SOTWs with rating 4
or above, OR created one major EH website.
Pending
TO approval, the EH Holonet Awards will begin next week. This
is a chance for you to nominate the best sites in the EH for awards.
Details will be available at http://ehha.stardestroyer.org.
We've
got some new projects in the works already, including an EH Search
Engine and Links Database. Currently, the Banner Exchange and
Greeting Card Center are currently down, but we are working on
getting them back up. Also, plot development for Project Hawkeye
II will resume shortly.
As
you can see, the IO report design is slightly different from the
past ones. This is iin honor of being report #40. The last redesign
was at #20, and the next will be hopefully at #60. Hope you like
this one.

MinosNIC now serves 86 URL redirects and 30 web hosting accounts.
Remember, free PHP and MySQL-enabled hosting is offered for all
Emperor's
Hammer related web sites. MinosNIC hosting is a great alternative
to banner
hosting services such as GeoCities and Tripod.

I did a bunch of work on the EHNet logins system this week, making
the
system much less prone to errors, and much more suitable for use
by other
Emperor's Hammer web sites. If you have a major EH web site that
you'd be
