Greetings Pilots!
With RtF behind us, I'm pleased to report that we had a
92% participation rate
and achieved a 4th place finish overall with 10,050 points.
We held a difficult lead against Typhoon Squadron
who finished with a close 10,015 points. It was an incredible team effort, but we can, and will do better next year.
We will build a winning team!
From the data collected during the event, it is clear to me that we have a diverse group of pilots with varying skills and gaming
preferences. When the pressure was on, we came together as a team and made a final push to maintain our standing. If it were not
for a couple of rogue pilots on opposing teams, I'm confident we would have held a podium position. As a team, we outperformed other
Squadrons with that strong participation rate.
I am very excited about the direction that Gamma is headed. As you may have heard, Gamma has undergone some significant changes to its
command structure. CPT Witchblade has stepped down as Commander and is now our Squadron Executive Officer. I want to thank her again
for her service and her professionalism that we have all experienced. LCM Habu has been promoted to the Flight Leader position and I
have taken Command. With a strong and enthusiastic command team, and a diverse and active group of pilots, I'm confident that we are headed
in a positive direction.
That said, it's been an exciting month with many changes and lot's of flying. I want to thank LCM Habu, LCM Shane, CM SirPants for flying
every day and helping to build our team in Starwars Squadrons. Our stack is well known in the game and for good reason. We have consistently
held 4 of the top 10 spots on the PvP killboards this month and those gains were all painstakingly made in Starwars Squadrons as a team!
I would be thrilled to see more of you come out to join us. If any of you are interested but maybe a bit rusty or haven't played in a while,
we have a training program but you will need voice comms.
Woody, your efforts on the PvE boards with a commanding 1st place finish have not gone unnoticed. I watched your stats climb daily as
you rallied for the win until you completely blew the opposition out of the sky. Outstanding job General! Your continued efforts
after more than 2 decades of service to the Corps is mindblowing. Between the 2 of us, we held 1st place for October for PvE and PvP.
LCM Habu has been helping me with a default helmet design for Gamma. We've changed the colors used in the TTT3 tool to default to the
blue and gold colors on our logo. That's not to say that you can't design your own. LCM Habu will also be updating all members Uniforms
and we will provide them with the release of this month's Medals. We want Gamma to look our best!
Some of you may not know this, but CM Asen Starlancer designed the header image used on this report. I also want to bring attention to
his art submission during RtF. While a lot of us were drawing on napkins with crayons, Asen took some extra time and made some wonderful pieces.
Of note, Witchblade and Woody also pumped out 1000's of words of fiction. It's good to know that we have some real artists in our crew.
I would like to encourage some of you to engage in competition creation. Even simple ones like puzzles, crossword puzzles, trivia,
or even competitions in approved or non approved EH games. It's a great way to get to know other pilots in EH and a good experience.
The survey results were quite diverse and unfortunately I can't link them here. In summary, there were a few things
that I could deduct from it. We play a diverse set of games both PvE and PvP and Habu is here to kill younglings.
As this is my first report, please let me know of any browser compatibility issues. All past and current reports
are also viewable here on the
Emperors Hammer website. I am here to serve you guys. If you have any suggestions to improve the Gamma experience or if there is anything
you would like me to add to the next report, please let me know. My door is always open.
Thanks for reading. Be sure to check the links below.
In Darkness,
