Welcome,

The second month of the year is over.

From my side, it was a quiet month. I have done some planning and work behind the scenes. Hope that this month I will be more active.

The awards for February are handed out. (most of them, so far I can tell) Congratulations to all Siths, who earned an award for the activities.

During the evaluation process it has been noticed that none of the Hyperion members answer to their BTL PRT Prower. I hope that this was a onetime problem and it would be solved. Please answer your BTL, so we can justify that you are there and okay.

All in all, I can say, that the activity – especially the communication – has risen. For the communication part I have installed a chat group on Telegram. Everybody who wants to be part of it follow this link: https://t.me/joinchat/AAAAAAyElxUjHrI2y-ajgA

For the competitions, which are running: unfortunately, nobody has send a graphic for the SoD Design comp, so far. The competition has ended, but you can send a graphic for the sword for the Design archive competition as well. So, when you have some nice pictures send them to me.
And do not forget your fictions as well!

Every participation in a game or competition counts for you!
 

The Sword of Clan Drakonan was captured this month by SBL Dempsey plus the additional Kaiburr Star. More precisely, she earned herself two of this precious’s stars. The second is for being the Top Defender of Aurora Prime.

All stats you can find in the result part below.

With this all said let us star in a new month! A part of my to-do-list is done, now let´s go to the second.

Let's look at our current status and the awards.

Clan/DB wide Competitions

Pimp the Fleet V5.0: (Star Trek online / DB wide, hosted by MAA/DSP Elwood the Brave)

Every month I count the contributions of the Members to the Fleet. This will be sorted in a ranking list for every of the 6 sections. Additional to that there will be an overall rankinglist. One high active Member in all 6 sections is able to grab up to 7 awards! Additional to that we have the small ancillary effect that our Fleet increases in level and functionality.

Overall winner counting all 6 sections together:
1st Place Amethyst Star (Cr-1A)
2nd Place Sapphire Star (Cr-1S)
3rd PLace Emerald Star (Cr-1E)

Winner of one Section: (Base, Embassy, Dilithium Mine, Spire, K-13 and Research Lab)

Sword of Clan Drakonan competition: (Clan Drakonan / hosted by CON/SBM Silvius)

For this competition points, will be given for certain activities, which are listed below.

The winner in the end of the month will be announced as wheeler of the Sword of Clan Drakonan and will get as an award a Kaiburr Star.

Here's the breakdown of points earned by each Battle Team member in the Sword of Drakonan competition.

TIE Fighter/XWA/ etc.

o   1 point per mission flown

o   2 if the member receives a high score

Multiplayer Gaming (on any official platform)

o   1 point per match played

o   2 if it was earning CoF

raptr play

o   4 points per hour tracked by the raptr app. Screen sent to CON Silvius

SW TOR

o   1 point per in-game character level achieved.  Multiple characters are cumulatively scored.

STO Activity

o   based on the monthly calculation of the “Pimp the Fleet” competition for every section points will be given:

o   1. Place: 4 points

o   2. Place: 3 points

o   3. Place: 2 points

o   4. Place: 1 point

o   5. Place and more: 1 point

News group posts

o   1 point per post in the DB News group

DB Fiction 

o   2 points per page, an extra point for a submission that wins a competition

Graphics/Videos Creation

o   2-5 points depending on the size and detail of each

o    

Mission, Mod, Map, Level Creation 

o   2-5 points depending on the size and detail of each

Coursework 

o   3 points for successful completion of any course in the Imperial University

Course Creation 

o   10 points for creating a course in the Imperial University

Recruiting 

o   5 points for each new member recruited that becomes active and stays so for at least a month.

Serving as BTL 

o   Each week counts as 1 point, the BTL must produce a unit report (even when there isn’t much to say) and be active in at least one other activity listed above

o   Bonus points: be running 1 unit level or higher competition per week: 1 point

o   Bonus points: 5 or more members participating in a competition of the BTL: 5 points

Trivia and other miscellaneous types of activity/competition 

o   1 point for participating in each competition

o   2 points for winning a competition.

Awards:

o   for achieving certain awards, points will be also given. The awards include competition awards and general awards.

Dark Brotherhood Design Archives (Clan Drakonan / hosted by CON/SBM Silvius)

Every member of the Dark Brotherhood has his imaginations and pictures. Everybody has a story to tell. But time is rare as a Sith occupied with missions and studying the dark side.

I want to give you the opportunity, to show your images, whenever you want.

This is a competition, which would be running until the end of the year. Over the whole year, you have the possibility to design your pictures and submit them. You have no time restrictions. The only restriction is: no cartoon style pictures!

You can let your imaginations go, where ever you want.

Here are some suggestions for pictures, as help when you do not have an idea:

-          1. Ship battle.

     Design a picture which shows a battle between fighters, destroyers or rebel ships.

-          2. Ground Battle

     Design a picture which shows a battle between Siths and Jedi or Rebels

-          3. Temple invasion

Design a picture which shows an old temple or the inner of it.

-          4. Explore the Stars

Design a picture which shows a map of the stars.

-          5. Show me your weapon

Design a picture which shows your new weapon. Light sabre, sword, bow or sword.

Awards:

Every single picture will be awarded with a Crescent with Topaz Star (Cr-T).

In the end of the year following awards will be handed out for the ones who submitted the most pictures:

1.   Place: Crescent with Amethyst Star (Cr-A) (5 participants or more)

2.   Place: Crescent with Sapphire Star (Cr-S) (4 participants)

3.   Place: Crescent with Emerald Star (Cr-E) (3 participants or less)

This is a competition, which would be running until the end of the year. Over the whole year, you have the possibility to write fictions and submit them. You have no time restrictions or length specifications.

You can let your imaginations go, where ever you want.

Here are some suggestions for stories, as help when you do not have an idea:

-          1. The first day.

     Describe your arrival on Aurora Prime as a new Apprentice of the Dark      Brotherhood.

-          2. Initiation Ritual

     Your Battle Team welcomes you with a ritual, describe your feelings as new member.

-          3. Your past

Describe your past in the Dark Brotherhood

-          4. That’s me!

Describe you. Based on the INPR.

-          5. A disturbance of the force,

Leads to a planet. Investigate it and find out what it is.

-          6. Attack!

Rebels have entered the sector! Show them the strength of the Sith!

-          7. The GM call!

The GM has given you a task. Find an artefact, destroy a temple…is it up to you. Describe what he wants and how you achieve it.

-          8. Assassination

You are the guard of the MAA. An assassination attempt is launched against him. Find the culprits and show them the revenge of the Sith

-          9. A new CON in town

describe how the new CON has been interfering with your view and approach of the Dark Side

-          10. Am I ready to take command?

Explain why you're (not) ready to take the lead of your unit.

Awards:

Every single story will be awarded with a Crescent with Topaz Star (Cr-T).

You can send fictions, which based on another and building a book or something like that.
When you do such a fiction, you can work together with follow Siths. Just make sure that Sith writes one chapter an it is made clear, which one has wrote, which chapter.

In the end of the year following awards will be handed out for the ones who submitted the most fictions:

Defenders of Aurora Prime - 2017: (entire DB including Dark Council / hosted by COM/SW Silvius)

After our multiplayer activities noticeable increased over the last weeks, I think it is time to start a competition for it again. Every end of the month all awarded Clusters of Fire will sum-up. The crucial factor will be the tracking spreadsheet of the MAA, CON and P:GM of Clan Drakonan. All Dark Brotherhood multiplayer approved games for earning Clusters of Fire will count for this competition.
Screenshots for CoF approval have to be send to the MAA of the DB and the CON and the P:GM of Clan Drakonan.
