Star Wars Battlfronts 2: Server Up!

Thanks to the efforts of Dax Corrin, the HF now has it's own Battlefronts 2 server up and running. It is called "EH Hammer's Fist BF2 server" so should be easy to find. We are still working on a consolidated reward system for MP activity, so in the meantime, simply take screenshots of any results and forward them to your superior to gain credit for your activity.

Commander, Internet Affairs - Major General Zsinj - has been hard at work updating and improving our database. The Fire Team Leader position is now on the Rosters. I have placed all three FTLs in their roles - if there are any omissions, please let me know.

Reports

Alright everyone, you have new orders.

I expect all Officers in a command position to be submitting reports as of this week.

I'm appointing myself as the person who oversee's report submissions. Do try and get them in on time. If you fail to submit a report for more than two (2) weeks in a row action may be taken against you.

Reports should be transmitted to all Troopers under your command as well as all positions above you in the Chain of Command, including members of the General Staff. They should be submitted no later than Saturday evenings (Pacific Standard Time). This will then allow the GS to get their reports submitted the following Sunday to the Prefect.

As a side note, it seems that all reports will be submitted and then have to be sent to Zsinj so he can add them to the Database.

Also, anyone who wishes to submit a Monthly Eval at this point feel free, I will not expect them until the end of next month.

A new Run-On has been started on the HF forums entitled "Path to Resurrection". All Troopers are strongly encouraged to participate regardless of how bad you think your writing talents are. It's a good way of filling in time before more organised activities come along, and an easy way to earn a shiny medal!

Lieutenant Colonel Astix has been hard at work updating the various graphics used within the Hammer's Fist - he's nearly completed work on the new Position badges which can be found at http://eh.stryfe.net/viewtopic.php?f=77&t=164 . Please take the time to comment on the designs. My thanks to Col Astix for his efforts so far.

For those of you who missed the news, there have been some recent command appointments within the HF during the recent upheavals. Congratulations to the following people:

  • Major General Kirana D'Jek - Executive Officer
  • Major General Dante - Commander, Training
  • Major General Zsinj - Commander, Internet Affairs
  • Lieutenant Colonel Astix - Assistant, Prefect
  • 2nd Lieutenant Zelnar Tenar - Vengeance Platoon Commander
  • Staff Sergeant Xantros - 2 Squad Leader, Vengeance
  • Staff Sergeant Jaison Longorior - 3 Squad Leader, Vengeance
  • Sergeant Haraei Flashman - 1 Squad Leader, Vengeance

Also, I'd like to extend a very warm welcome to the very large numbers of former HF members who have returned to our ranks - it's great to see so many people. A note on ranks - returnees will not always retain their previous ranks, in most cases it is not practical to do so given the structural changes to the group. Where possible, a reasonable conversion to enlisted rank has been carried, while at the same time giving your scope for promotion within your current position. Where possible, medals and certifications will be retained.

In addition, those people who eventually move to the Reserves will be granted the use of the highest rank they achieved while as active Trooper with the (ret.) suffix.

Thanks to the efforts of Zsinj, the HF site is now back up and running. A considerable amount of work remains in updating it to meet the new standards of the Hamnmer's Fist, which will be conducted over the next several weeks. test

No, it's not over. I'm just an idiot who put the dates to end too soon in the database when I entered them. The competition is not officially over until September 30th, so I encourage you all to continue posting in the run-on (especially now that things are starting to affect individual planets) and submit to the other portions of the competition.
