Star Wars: Empire At War has been revised to where only Forces Of Corruption games will be accepted. This is due to the better tracking of unit kills among other factors. As of this time the queue is cleared (9/29/2022 - 18:28 GMT). Any standard Empire At War submissions will be declined by Combat Operations.
RtF 2022 kicks off at 0000 GMT on October 1st. The RtF site on http://rtf.tsaunders.net/ is once again being updated and maintained by FA Pickled Yoda, many thanks for his continued support. Not everything is reset and ready just yet, but the rules on http://rtf.tsaunders.net/pages/rules reflect this year's objectives.

Any attempt to cheat will be met with the strongest possible response outlined by the Articles of War (https://tc.emperorshammer.org/page/aow). Manipulation of game, competition, or site mechanics isn't considered creative, it's seen as stealing from your fellow pilots.

Solohan has been indispensable in the Hammer's efforts to improve the safety of the crew in our Hangar bays. With his daily fighter crashes and the fire-starting that often spread to the JV chat, he has proven to be a worthy Lambda SQXO.
He has filled the SQXO shoes admirably, almost seamlessly and he commands the respect and adoration of his fellow pilots, worthy of his next promotion. He is known for his popular crosswords and he occasionally flies a few hundred legions too!
Add to that his humour, low stature, and lack of ability to see over the Lambda Shuttle panels coupled with his insistence to call shotgun, and you got a lethal cocktail of a zucchini-infused, finger-biting menace.

LCM Newt has been an integral member of Tempest since they joined, and since promotion to LCM, this has continued. Splitting their time between the cockpit and the graphics tablet, Newt has graced the TIE Corps with profile pictures and set dressing for the podcast and still manages to find time to destroy rebels, pirates and smugglers in a variety of platforms. Newt has also taken on the important role of Flight Leader in Tempest, with a look to leading from the front - which they have certainly done so far.
It is with great honour that I recommend Newt be promoted to the rank of full Commander within the TIE Corps.

An issue was identified with the previous revision to Empire at War/Forces of Corruption PvE rules. This issue demonstrated a quality of play question where several human players were facing only one AI at Medium strength. Due to the unbalanced nature of such an engagement, the problem was flagged and raised by both the Empire at War research team as well as the Combat Operations Office Assistants. After engagement, we determined the best course of action is as followed:
Matches must have taken 5 minutes or longer.
AI settings are to be set as followed: Equivalent number of AI to players or more if playing at Medium AI. Equivalent-1 or more AI if playing at Hard.
For example:
2 player PvE game of EAW/FOC is acceptable if there are 2+ Medium AI or 1+ Hard AI.
3 player PvE game of EAW/FOC is acceptable if there are 3+ Medium AI or 2+ Hard AI
4 player PvE game of EAW/FOC is acceptable if there are 4+ Medium AI or 3+ Hard AI
This ensures that there is in fact a suitable challenge for all involved players to where the standards are met to obtain a Legion of Skirmish. These rule updates have been codified into the COO Manual which is the living document considered to be the most up to date resources that Combat Operations uses to approve/decline submissions. As this update went live approximately to 12 AM EDT on 9/12/2022, any matches not meeting these standards after the clearance of 9/12's queue will be considered correctly declined.

StarCross Fighter League - Season 4
Greetings Pilots!
The renewed Star Wars: Squadrons 3v3 Dogfighting League is starting up soon! What is the SCFL? The StarCross Fighter League pits pilots against each other in a 3v3 dogfighting league format with custom match modifiers for balancing, the league is comprised of teams from across the competitive Star Wars: Squadrons scene and is an external competitive league.
Pilots may form teams of three to compete against groups across the SWS community in the Star Cross Fighter League. Registration sign-ups will run from September 12th to September 23rd. Season 4 will begin on October 3rd!
Represent the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps and fly for the empire! Pilots are encouraged to stream their games and share their broadcasts with the club.
As a reminder, we have additional self-assignable roles for the competitive players in the role-assignments channel on our EHTC discord where pilots can discuss strategies and scrimmages for the various leagues.

Morgoth is known for his ability to cut quickly to the heart of the matter, whether that be in conversations, or in the cockpit as he sets out on another bombing run. Representing the TC in numerous outside arenas, including the 3PO League, and always maintaining an exemplary level of activity, I am immeasurably pleased to recommend Morgoth be promoted to the rank of Major, with all rights and responsibilites that rank entails.
